About Persian Peacock Ring 칵테일 링

페르시안 피콕 링(Persian Peacock Ring)은 여성을 위한 칵테일 링이다. 이 디자인은 페르시아 신화에서 낙원, 왕권, 고귀함과 아름다움의 상징인 공작새에서 영감을 얻었다. 유기적이고 역동적인 형태가 서로 다른 금속 색상 및 보석과 어우러진다. 에메랄드와 사파이어는 초록빛과 푸른빛으로 공작의 깃털을 표현한다. 이 반지는 3차원 소프트웨어로 모델링한 뒤 왁스로 출력하여 세 개의 부분으로 직접 주조되었다. 보석은 마이크로 세팅 기법으로 세팅되었으며, 머리 윗부분과 눈은 옐로 골드로 도금되었다.

Unique Properties: Using organic and dynamic forms in the design. Combining different elements and shapes in design with different metal colour and gemstones.
Dimensions & Packaging: Width and length of the piece from the top view are about 42mm.
Its weight is about 35 grams in sterling silver.

Production Technology: Different software packages used for designing and 3D-modelling the ring. Then, it 3D-printed in wax and direct cast in three parts.
Finally, gemstones set on Hero ring by using Micro-setting technique. Top of the head and eyes plated in yellow gold.
Design Challenge: Making a big cocktail ring in all steps is challenging. Making the high detailed and producible design on the computer, casting and mounting this piece was part of the challenge.
Research: Researching about the symbolic meaning of the peacock is Persian mythology.
Inspiration: Persian peacock ring inspired by the peacock. In Persian mythology, the peacock is a symbol of paradise, regality, nobility and beauty.
Project Duration: The project started in April 2019 and finished in May 2019.
Operation Flow: Using 3d modelling software packages and 3d-printing technology could help to achieve an accurate and high detailed design.
