일상 속 어디에나 존재하는 최소한의 빛을 활용하여 극적인 사진을 촬영하였다. 이후 컴퓨터 소프트웨어를 사용해 흑백으로 변환하고, 사람의 이미지를 부각시키기 위해 노출을 조정하였다. 마지막으로 불필요한 요소를 제거하고 빛과 사람의 균형을 구성하기 위해 직사각형에서 정사각형으로 트리밍하였다.
