دەق: پۆل کاپاکێکی پەرتووکی کارلێکردی یە کە بۆ بڵاوکراوەیەکی زانستی دروستکراوە. دیزاینەکە شێوەی ئاڵگە بە ڕێگەی پیتە چینییەکانەوە لێکدەداتەوە، و چەندین شێوازی ئاڵگە بەسەر کاپاکدا دانراون بۆ ئەوەی خوێنەران دەستبەجێ پەیوەندی لەگەڵ بابەتەکەدا دروست بکەن. وێنە سادەکراوەکانی جۆرە جیاوازەکانی ئاڵگە بە ڤارنیشی خاڵدار پۆشراون، کە دەرئەنجامی ئەوە دەرکەوتنی وێنەیەکی ئاوی و دەقێکی ڕاستەقینەیە. وێنە سادەکراوەکان بەسەر هەموو کاپاکەکەدا درێژ دەبنەوە بۆ دروستکردنی وێنەی گۆمێک پڕ لە ئاڵگە. ڕەنگی زەردی نیۆن و تۆنە سەوزەکان جۆراوجۆری ئاڵگەکان نیشان دەدەن. تاقیکردنەوەیەکی بچووکی لێکدانەوە لەسەر کاپاکی ناوەوە ڕێگە بە خوێنەران دەدات ناوی جۆرەکانی ئاڵگە فێر بن.

Unique Properties: Designer redesigns the look of algae with the Chinese character, and combined with numbers of algae on the cover, leading readers to associate with the topic immediately. Doodles of various types of algae are coated with translucent varnish which creates senses of watery reflection. They extend through the whole cover to create an image of pond that full of algae. A small matching quiz is designed on the inner cover for readers to get to know the names of algae.

Production Technology: For the main visual design, it is coated with spot varnish to emphasize the vivid effect and the realistic texture while it is brightly colored with neon yellow and greenish tones.
Design Challenge: The process of finding an attractive and an eye-catching way to design a science book cover requires several attampts and brain-storming.
Inspiration: It starts from a small pond which is filled with algae floating on the top of the surface, and can be found everywhere. The colorful design is meant to show the diversities and interesting sides of algae. Readers can also associate with the algae they have seen by touching the varnished algae doodles.
Project Duration: The designing project started and finished in December 2019 in Tainan, Taiwan, and was published in Taiwan on 5th of Decenber, 2019.
Operation Flow: Besides from the vivid color it used. A samll interactive quiz is designed on the inner cover of the book. Readers can choose the corresponded names to match the correct algae.
