About Arc Fonksiyona Bingehîn: Maseya Qehweyê

Metna Pirtûkê: Arc maseyeke qehweyê ye ku ji bo cîhên jiyanê yên hemdem hatiye sêwirandin. Arc ji dara qelûşê (ash) hatiye çêkirin ku bi rêya laminasyon û çemandinê şekil lê hatiye dayîn. Sê darikên kevçî bi hev ve hatine girêdan da ku avahiyeke sêgoşeyî ya girover û sêalî ava bikin. Her darik bi herdu yên din ve girêdayî ye, ji ber vê yekê li ser her darikê çar girêdan pêwîst in û divê her goşe bi kûrahî were qutkirin. Maseyê firehiya wê 77 santîmetre, kûrahiya wê 77 santîmetre û bilindahiya wê 48 santîmetre ye. Sêwirana wê giranbûnek sivik e û dikare wek amûra kelûpelan were bikaranîn an jî wek berhemeke peyker were dîtin. Arc xwe ji avahîsaziya nûjen û ji strukturên sade yên bêyî xemla zêde ilham digire.

Unique Properties: The ARC stripes were made and connected using laminated veneer techniques which combines three strips to form a spherical structure. Each strip has to connect with two other strips thus each strips needs to have four joints to be set precisely.Then combined joints and form a stable three-dimensional triangular body of structure. which makes the creation unique. And because of the unique shape, the Table could easily fit in contemporary, it could act as a furniture or a piece of art.

Production Technology: Ash, Joint, Laminate bending.
Design Challenge: The table has an unique structural placement which creates challenges when it’s being crafted: To form the shape and the accurate joint angle, which requires a huge amount of calculation when bending and making joint each pieces of wood, is one of the key challenges when crafting.
Research: This is an outstanding Table made out of hardwood with overcome various of structural challenges and woodcrafting techniques. The Table is comfortable with its own personality, unique, light in weight and with a pretty structure and appearance.
Inspiration: This table is inspired by ARC Guitar Stand, the first creation of ARC series which is also an original HYC creation.

ARC creation was inspired by the modern architectures and the ponderation of space design on how to composite structures that are not over-decorated and form a new pattern that is elegant and enchanted.
Project Duration: The project started in 2021 in Taipei and completed in 2022 in Taipei.
