Toodo works with a specialized cleaning gel that is co-developed with chemical compounding company and sonic vibration motor board to achieve both chemical and physical cleaning. The most traditional way of cleaning the oral cavity is using a toothbrush; however, the bristle structure is the breeding bed of nourishing bacteria.

- The user bites on the mouthpiece, and the device automatically starts to operate. The cleaning gel is pumped by the pump through the vibration motor board to the user’s oral cavity; the cold light illuminates the oxidizing agent to activate the whitening; the carbon particles in the gel work with sonic vibration for physical cleaning.
