- This is the first professional book to systematically explain the history of Chinese character design from the dimension of design studies. The seven Chinese characters in the title correspond to seven fonts with evolutionary relationships. Black and white graphic illustrations are designed on the front pages of different chapters, which is the symbol collage construction of the text and design examples occurred in the corresponding chapter.
