About Silhouettes Primary Function: Dëschluucht

Silhouettes ass eng Dëschluucht déi fir zousätzlecht Liicht doheem an um Aarbechtsplaz entworf gouf. D'Luucht ass 500 mm héich a besteet aus Metallelementer vun der selwechter Form a verschiddene Gréissten, no dem Nestprinzip vun de Matryoschka-Poppen. Dës Elementer kënne beweegt ginn fir d'Erschénglech vun der Luucht z'änneren. D'Elementer kënnen och an enger Ebene ausgeriicht ginn, sou datt d'Luucht flaach zesummegepaakt gëtt a manner Verpaakung, Material a Transportraum brauch. Eng Kugel aus mattem Glas an der Mëtt hält eng LED-Plack. D'Luucht ass aus engem Metallkader, mattem Glas an engem Stoffkabel gemaach.

Credits, team members and technical details provided by the designer.

Unique Properties: The unique design allows you to change the location of the metal "silhouettes" of the table lamp. Using this, you can change the design of the lamp, adjust it individually for each person. In addition, this approach allows all features to be placed in the same plane. This allows you to make a compact package. This helps to save on material and logistics. Since it requires less space. It has a positive impact on the environment.
Dimensions & Packaging: Table lamp 500 mm high.
Tags: lamp, lighting, lighting design, product design
Production Technology: Metal frame, frosted glass, LED board, fabric wire.
Design Challenge: The main challenge was the technical thought-out of the intersection of "metal" silhouettes in the lower part of the body of the lamp, where all elements must be on the same level for the stability of the table lamp, as well as inventing fasteners for the wire.
Research: To create a movable structure that can conform to any person, and also assemble to save space for the sake of ecology.
Inspiration: The main source of inspiration was the National Russian toy - Matryoshka, however, to be more precise, it was the principle of its design. It consists of one form, but of different scales. They can all create a common object. In addition, this principle allows you to change the design of the product and interact with the user in the form of a game.
The name of the lamp conveys the basic principle of the design, which is built on the scaling of one silhouette.
Project Duration: The project started in March 2018 in Moscow and finished in May 2018 in Moscow.
Operation Flow: A person can interact with a table lamp. Since all metal "silhouettes" are mobile and it is possible to change their location by changing the design of the product. Also, the color scheme of the series, consisting of white, black, red colors and brass, allows you to fit it into any modern interior, and become a functional lamp for additional lighting or a useful lamp for the workplace.
