About Sensory Aesthetic Wäiverkäschtungshaus

Sensory Aesthetic ass e Wäiverkäschtungshaus dat tëschent héije Beem an de Gäert vum Mangabeira Palais zu Belo Horizonte a Brasilien läit. D'Haus ass entworf fir d'Sammelen an d'Verkäschte vu Wäin z'ënnerstëtzen. Natierlech Materialien wéi Holz a Steen decken déi baussenzeg an dobannen Mauren, a Lieder gëtt op de Miwwelen benotzt, wat eng gemittlech an intim Ambiance schaaft. De Wäikeller ass klimatiséiert an automatiséiert. Iwwer eng Applikatioun wielt de Besucher e Land aus, an LED-Luuchte beliichten all Etiketten aus där Regioun. Eng baussenzeg Terrass bitt zousätzlech Sëtzplazen.

Production Technology
Another differential of the project is that the cellar is air-conditioned as well as automated. Through an app, the visitor can select the country in which the wine they want to taste is produced. After making this choice, a LED light lights up to illuminate all labels from that region.
Design Challenge
Usually we create two metal pipes for each bottle. In this case I wanted to have one thicker pipe that could have a dimension that support two bottles at the same time but they don`t bump in each other. Also we had the challenge to made this delicate and resistant. The culmination of a series of prototypes aimed at achieving this light result even thought having almost 400 bottles at one place. The lights that delineate the wine cellar featured this!
Research
I wanted to have a place not decorated with wine but that wine was the really center of it. And all the preparation and research involved personal visits on wineries around the world to get the point. The enviroment of that!
Inspiration
The inspiration was the true universe of wineries. In order to reproduce that, I set many natural elements such as wood, stone, of a more closed character, which covers both the external and internal walls, in addition to leather in the furniture, resulting in an ambiance of a cozy and intimate place, ideal for good stories and great wines!
Project Duration
The project started in June 2019 in Belo Horizonte and finished in October 2019 in Belo Horizonte, and was exhibited in a Home Design Show called (Casa Cor MG).
Operation Flow
Inside the space, in front of the cellar, there is an eight-seater round table that caters to the brotherhoods of wine lovers. In addition, a gourmet countertop for support in the preparation of dishes and hygiene of cups, a shelf with various cups and rare labels already tasted and disposed as an affective tasting memory. If the Proposal is to toast outdoors, the deck offers plenty of comfort. The place has a bench that surround the whole house and also serves as a body guard, a wooden table, an armchair with high backrest and other smaller benches leave everything even more fluid and organic.
The glass cube invades the roomand gives relevance to its purpose of storing noble bottles, and benefits from the transparency so that, at any time, the wines suspended by wooden pipes, cease to be protagonists. The wide kitchen countertop beside has a sink, an ice bucket and a cooktop. It serves as a support to clean the glasses and for the preparation of the dishes!
