About Cubiventure Doheem fir Hausdéieren

Cubiventure ass en erweiterbaren Doheem fir Hausdéieren, dee souwuel dobannen wéi och dobaussen benotzt ka ginn. De wierfelfërmegen Kierper mëcht 600 mm op all Säit a beinhalt verschiebbar Schinnen. En innert Compartiment gëtt wéi eng Schublad erausgezunn, wat de Raum dobannen verduebelt wann d'Déier méi grouss gëtt. En Daachdach aus Segeltuch gëtt mat zwee Stahlstäng eropgehuewen fir e Zelt ze bilden, an d'Dier vir aus Segeltuch gëtt opgerullt a mat engem Rimm gehalen. De Haaptkierper besteet aus Holz-Plastik-Verbondplack, engem liichten an haltbaren Material. Dëst Design reduzéiert d'Noutwennegkeet en neit Haus ze kafen wann en Hausdéier méi grouss gëtt.

Production Technology: The material we used to construct the main body is wood plastic composite board, it is a material that is sustainable, lightweight, and durable, commonly used in building construction. The product is planned to be produced in the furniture factory due to its similar structure and material to a cabinet.

In the design process, we have looked into regular pet houses and the data on the size of different pets, to make sure our design can meet most of our consumer needs.
Design Challenge: One of the key challenges is to make sure the whole product is both technically and financially feasible, this required us to make connections to experts in production in search of appropriate material and mechanical parts. We also have to look into the interactive side of the design, to make sure it is easy to use, durable, and also pleasant to the eye.
Research: Through statistics research and field trips, we discovered that despite the fast-growing pet economy, the product in the pet house category stayed much the same for years without much progress, and we found out that many consumers struggled to choose the right size for their pets, resulting in multiple purchases due to pet growth or moving houses, we see it as a problem and decided to delve into it.

As a result, we came up with Cubiventure, an expandable pet house that serves as both a house and camper van depending on where the consumer puts it, with durable sustainable material and multi-function, aiming to increase the living experience for both our customer and their pets.
Inspiration: Both outdoor living and the pet economy have been booming in recent years, which reflected a shift in lifestyle. Inspired by such a trend, Cubiventured was designed to be space-saving and multi-functional to reach a broader audience.
The design was inspired by the expandable campervan which creates extra space when needed, with a furniture-making background, we came up with a structure similar to drawers finalizing its technical feasibility.
Project Duration: The project started in March 2023 and finished in June 2023
Operation Flow: To expand the house, the user has to grab the top frame on the right side and lift the right side up off the ground, then pull the compartment like a drawer.

To set up the rooftop tent, there are two steel rods each with one end connected to the corners of the canvas rooftop, and there are two inserts in the mainframe with holes in the center, insert the rods into the holes to set up the tent.

To close or open the front canvas door, simply roll up or down, and use the strap to secure its position when roll-up.
