About Raised History Festival-Luucht-Installatioun

Raised History ass eng Festival-Luucht-Installatioun, déi fir en Chrëschtdags-Event geschaf gouf. D'Struktur ass aus enger Holzgitter gebaut, déi hiren interne Rahmen weist an d'Form vun engem Bam bild. Wiesselend Faarwen vu Liicht ginn op Läinwänn projizéiert, déi um Buedem vun all Schicht placéiert sinn. D'Faarwen baséieren op historeschen Perioden vun der Stad, an d'gebéiegt Form erënnert un de Kiel vun engem Seelboot aus der Grënnungszäit vum Hafen. Bei engem alen Kanal placéiert, funktionéiert d'Installatioun als visuellen Mëttelpunkt a bréngt eng festlech Atmosphär an d'Hafegéigend.

Design Challenge: The most difficult part was the structure of each wooden lattice. The structure had two curves, one for horizontal skirt under each layer and the other for vertical facade, and much more calculation was necessary than ordinary curved shape by lattice.
Inspiration: We leverage historical elements of the city, planning colors that represent each era and transforming them into projected light hues. Employing the sailboat keel structure from the port's establishment 400 years ago, we create a rhythm with undulating curves, giving the entire tree an elegant and dynamic appearance.
Project Duration: The project started in November 2023 in Tainan City, Taiwan and finished in December 2023. The installation was built for Christmas event which was held for 1 month.
