About Optical Sorting Zellsortéiersystem
Optical Sorting ass en optescht Zellsortéiersystem, dee fir biomedizinesch Fuerschung entwéckelt gouf. Zellen gi vun engem mikrofluidesche Chip gelueden a mat optesch induzéierter Dielektrophorese guidéiert, déi d'Prouwen ouni Schued sortéiert. En Imaging-System hëlt d'Zellen op, an eng Software analyséiert d'Biller an Echtzäit, fir all Zell z'identifizéieren an ze klasséieren. Déi sortéiert Zelle ginn duerno fir Kultur a weider Studie gesammelt. Zéngdausende vun Eenzelzellen kënne gläichzäiteg gehandhabt ginn, sou datt e positiivt Plasmazellen-Screening an engem Dag ofgeschloss ka ginn. D'Instrument moosst 60 op 80 op 170 Zentimeter.

- Research
- In our research, we looked into a particular topic to gain more insights. We conducted experiments or studies, using various tools like scientific instruments or software, depending on what we were focusing on. If it involved people, we had participants; if it was about animals or cells, those were our subjects. Through our methods, we observed, collected data, and tested different conditions. The results revealed interesting findings, such as a new relationship or a significant change. These findings gave us new understandings and could point the way for future research.
- Inspiration
- The Optical Cell Sorting System is a breakthrough in cell sorting for biomedical research. It replaces time-consuming, sample-damaging manual sorting with optoelectronic dielectrophoresis, which precisely controls cells for efficient, undamaged sorting. This technology boosts accuracy and speed, providing a reliable, streamlined cell sorting and culture process. The Light Operator enhances lab efficiency, enabling scientists to advance cell research.
- Project Duration
- The project started in December 2020 in Beijing and finished in August 2023 in Beijing.
- Operation Flow
- First, the cells or other biological samples to be sorted are prepared and loaded into the microfluidic chip of the system. Then, the optical-induced dielectrophoresis technology is used to manipulate and sort the cells based on their properties. During this process, the imaging system captures the images of the cells, and the software analyzes the images in real-time to identify and classify the cells. Finally, the sorted cells are collected, and the results are output and processed for subsequent research.
