Unique Properties

CAMON 40 Pro 5G debuts One-Tap FlashSnap that transforms mobile photography, enabling effortless capture of fleeting moments with a single press. Combined with 50MP Sony Ultra Night Camera, it ensures crisp, vibrant, and timely shots. Leveraging AI, FlashSnap optimizes startup, continuous shooting, and multi-frame processing for faster, clearer results. BestMoment algorithm learns motion patterns to select the ideal frames, while shutter speed up to 1/12235s captures fast moments with precision.

Design Challenge

In developing CAMON's FlashSnap technology, we faced numerous creative and research challenges that demanded innovative solutions to redefine mobile photography. Here are the key challenges we addressed:
- Capturing Fast-Moving Moments with Precision and Clarity: One of the primary challenges was to capture fleeting, fast-moving moments with both speed and precision while maintaining exceptional image quality. To tackle this, we leveraged advanced AI algorithms to optimize camera startup and continuous shooting for faster captures. Our AI-powered multi-frame processing technology reduces noise and enhances details, ensuring that every shot is clear and vibrant. Additionally, the BestMoment algorithm intelligently learns and identifies motion patterns, automatically selecting the best frames for more precise captures.
- Innovating the Photography Experience with One-Tap Convenience:Another significant challenge was to revolutionize the photography experience by making it easier for users to capture spontaneous moments. We introduced the innovative One-Tap FlashSnap feature, which allows users to capture fleeting moments with a single button press. This feature, paired with the 50MP Sony Ultra-Sensing Camera, ensures that every shot is not only quick but also professionally timed, redefining what is possible with mobile photography.
- Balancing Speed, Clarity, and Natural Expressions:Balancing speed, clarity, and natural expressions in photography is a complex task. Our BestMoment AI assistant analyzes frames within a precise ±0.5s window to automatically select the most expressive shot, such as a smile, open eyes, or peak sports action as reference points. This ensures that users can capture not just the action but also the most exciting and defining moments of each dynamic activity.
- Advancing AI-Powered Imaging Capabilities: Incorporating AI into FlashSnap presented unique research challenges, including developing algorithms that could process multiple frames in real-time, reduce noise while preserving detail, and learn and adapt to diverse motion scenarios. Our team invested significant time and resources into refining these algorithms to ensure that FlashSnap delivers a seamless and intuitive photography experience.
By addressing these creative and research challenges, CAMON 40 Series' One-Tap FlashSnap technology will redefined high-speed mobile photography, setting new standards for speed, clarity, and convenience. We believe that our innovative solutions and dedication to excellence make CAMON's FlashSnap a worthy candidate for the A'Design Award.

Inspiration

The inspiration behind One-Tap FlashSnap comes from life’s most dynamic moments—sports victories, family interactions, and live performances. Unlike posed shots, these unfold in an instant, making them hard to capture. FlashSnap isn’t just burst capture—it masters high-speed snapshots, while BestMoment detects and captures peak-action frames, eliminating shutter delay. CAMON 40 Pro 5G makes this technology accessible in the midrange segment while refining it to a next-level standard.
