My education is technique and I was always fascinated by design. I became a designer of windows and doors thanks to extensive knowledge of these two large families of products, developed in the company family.
Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?
My education is technique and I was always fascinated by design. I became a designer of windows and doors thanks to extensive knowledge of these two large families of products, developed in the company family. No, I did not think of becoming a designer.

I work at the moment only for the family business
What is "design" for you?
beauty and functionality
What kinds of works do you like designing most?
Windows and doors, but probabily I prefer windows, they are more complicated
What is your most favorite design, could you please tell more about it?

What was the first thing you designed for a company?
A door collection where a few elements could combine different door styles
When do you feel the most creative?
When traveling
Which aspects of a design do you focus more during designing?
depends on the project, in any case all aspects are important, but the beauty is the thing that fascinates me most of all
What kind of emotions do you feel when you design?
rather than emotion I feel the ambition to change the way you see things
What kind of emotions do you feel when your designs are realized?
is the most complex, the most delicate one in which also many other people can judge the product and then await their judgment, to strengthen my opinion

From your point of view, what are the responsibilities of a designer for society and environment?
the greatest responsibility is to create sustainable products that improve people's lives
How do you think the "design field" is evolving? What is the future of design?
I think the design come increasingly become part of everyday life, can be surrounded by objects that join function, style and respect for the environment is desirable. I think this is the direction in which we are going

Where does the design inspiration for your works come from? How do you feed your creativity? What are your sources of inspirations?
My design inspiration come from my personal needs
How would you describe your design style? What made you explore more this style and what are the main characteristics of your style? What's your approach to design?
my design is inspired by the simplicity and subtraction
Where do you live? Do you feel the cultural heritage of your country affects your designs? What are the pros and cons during designing as a result of living in your country?
I live in Naples, city full of wealth, style and culture. My design is inspired by the city as need to appreciate it even within the house and then talking about windows to all that you can do to don't create barriers between me and my city

It's very simple, I begin to draw freehand the idea of maximum and then to the computer perfected

Can you describe a day in your life?
I work from 7.30 am to 9.00 pm, on week end I stay with my family
Could you please share some pearls of wisdom for young designers? What are your suggestions to young, up and coming designers?
know the market and the product in which we come across and at that point with a little 'imagination you will be able to easily achieve good results
From your perspective, what would you say are some positives and negatives of being a designer?
Positive: to be able to express themselves. Negative:can not do
What skills are most important for a designer?
more than competence, I would say ability to empathize with the other person to understand the objective
Which tools do you use during design? What is inside your toolbox? Such as software, application, hardware, books, sources of inspiration etc.?

Designing can sometimes be a really time consuming task, how do you manage your time?
you will learn in time, there is no rule
