Designer Interview

37 Froen

After graduating in architecture, I decided to work the Murano glass, collaborating with Japanese artists. After that experiences I realized that I would become a product designer.

Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?

After graduating in architecture, I decided to work the Murano glass, collaborating with Japanese artists. After that experiences I realized that I would become a product designer. I then attended a three-year doctorate in product and communication design, at I.U.A.V., Venice.

Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?

BrogliatoTraverso is a product design studio founded by Alberto Brogliato and Federico Traverso.

By joining the different backgrounds and project experiences in Italy and abroad, we have developed our own personal vision of design.

“We want our products to give emotions, telling the wonderful stories which we all need.”

This vision and our passion for the "know-how", made that companies like Diamantini & Domeniconi, MyYour, Heineken, Plust Collection and several others decided to work with us, being mentioned in many magazines.
