I wouldn't say we have become design legends already, as designers we must be keep moving forward by self-motivation and pay attention to the surroundings. This is where the ideas come from.

What’s helped me as a designer is always putting 100% effort into my work, learning from mistakes and gaining experience from the past. What were the obstacles you faced before becoming a design master?

I don’t think we are design masters yet! We haven't had many obstacles to face but before starting our own company we felt that we didn't have full creative input. We now feel free to express ourselves through our work.

Nowadays, we can find research and information from the internet or apps very easy, ordinary people they think they could do design by themselves, if designers couldn’t have certain recognition and reputation are very difficult in design industry.

Where do you think the design field is headed next?

We believe it is going to become more human oriented.

How long does it take you to finalize a design project?

It really depends on the complexity of the project.

We always start a project with finding out what the client needs and our work ideas based around that.

Just keep thinking and thinking…

By trying many different kinds of design projects, we have learnt to develop our skills through experience.

I don’t think we are famous now, it is good start and encouragement to receive the awards and recognition.

We don’t have any specific favorite colour as every colour has its own beauty, just depends on the combination and use of proportion. We like Hong Kong, Hong Kong is still a magnificent city especially the night view of Victoria Harbour.

When we see our project develop from beginning to end, it can feel like it’s our baby, so when the client gives positive feedback and loves it, that's what makes our day great. Appreciation and acknowledgement gives us motivation.
