I majored in product design at IAAD University. Following graduation, I worked at the design studio Nussbaumer Design for 1 year, now i work like freelance for startups.
Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?
I majored in product design at IAAD University. Following graduation, I worked at the design studio Nussbaumer Design for 1 year, now i work like freelance for startups.
Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?
I've known socialfare for my thesis project, are a very open-minded studio, they use interesting methodologies
What is "design" for you?
Create something to help people
What kinds of works do you like designing most?
Humanitarian projects, projects for real human needs
What is your most favorite design, could you please tell more about it?
Mine Kafon Drone by Massoud Hassani. A project that serves to save lives, a drone that helps locate the presence of mines in the territory and disenchant them.
What was the first thing you designed for a company?
A pair of shears.
What is your favorite material / platform / technology?
Gray matter, hands
When do you feel the most creative?
In the subway
Which aspects of a design do you focus more during designing?
Functionality, think of every detail and user experience
What kind of emotions do you feel when you design?
I can fell anything, sorry.
What kind of emotions do you feel when your designs are realized?
So, i'm happy of course.
What makes a design successful?
The participatory design
When judging a design as good or bad, which aspects do you consider first?
is useful to something or someone?
From your point of view, what are the responsibilities of a designer for society and environment?
Design using the head, improve the world for real, seems for me that "chair" problemis solved.
How do you think the "design field" is evolving? What is the future of design?
Yes, I think it's an evolving world, surely the Anthropological design will move forward
When was your last exhibition and where was it? And when do you want to hold your next exhibition?
I have not yet held an exhibition
Where does the design inspiration for your works come from? How do you feed your creativity? What are your sources of inspirations?
One thing: human behavior
How would you describe your design style? What made you explore more this style and what are the main characteristics of your style? What's your approach to design?
I take inspiration from everything, concentrate everything to find a pleasant aesthetic shape
Where do you live? Do you feel the cultural heritage of your country affects your designs? What are the pros and cons during designing as a result of living in your country?
I live in Turin/Italy, here the culture of social design is not very strong, we are still too tied to the golden age of Italian design.
How do you work with companies?
Well, even if I prefer to work autonomously
What are your suggestions to companies for working with a designer? How can companies select a good designer?
Listen well, understand the best that the designer wants to convey and draw
Can you talk a little about your design process?
I look at people, I know the problems everyday, sometimes I ask for something, divide, and talk to all the actors that revolve around a specific field. After drawing and looking for feedback
What are 5 of your favorite design items at home?
Sketchbook, pilot pen, iphone, toothbrush and sweet fork
Can you describe a day in your life?
I live differently every day, basically I try to live it serenely
Could you please share some pearls of wisdom for young designers? What are your suggestions to young, up and coming designers?
i don't know, i'm a young designer.
From your perspective, what would you say are some positives and negatives of being a designer?
Invent the world and have the responsibility to do it
Which tools do you use during design? What is inside your toolbox? Such as software, application, hardware, books, sources of inspiration etc.?
I see, speak and write, nothing else
Designing can sometimes be a really time consuming task, how do you manage your time?
In fact I can not do it best, I do not have a solution.
How long does it take to design an object from beginning to end?
It depends

What type of design work do you enjoy the most and why?
The shears, my first job, are fond of me

No plans, only hard work.
Do you work as a team, or do you develop your designs yourself?
Depends on the project

I'm doing a research on jail design
