Kūrinys remiasi Xiaozhuan – ankstyvąja kinų antspaudo rašto forma, žinoma dėl savo susikaupimo ir autentiškumo. Pavadinimas kilęs iš „Apeigų knygos“, kur šie žodžiai reiškia tyrinėti ir suprasti visus daiktus bei pasiekti pusiausvyros būseną.
