About Sume Stalinė lempa

Sume – tai stalinė lempa, pagaminta iš rankomis pūsto stiklo ir vario. Pavadinimas nurodo į dizaino korio tekstūrą. Pagrindas padengtas variu, o kiekvienas stiklinis gaubtas pučiamas rankomis, todėl kiekvienas gaminys šiek tiek skiriasi savo forma ir dydžiu. Lempos skersmuo – 34 centimetrai, aukštis – 40 centimetrų. Sume maitinama iš elektros tinklo ir turi ryškumo reguliatorių, todėl šviesos intensyvumą galima pritaikyti pagal kambario poreikius. Šis dizainas puoselėja tradicinius amatų įgūdžius ir perdirbamų medžiagų naudojimą.

Unique Properties: Su’me, named after its honeycomb texture, highlights the raw elegance of organic design. The origin of Su’me emphasizes the preservation of the unique craftsmanship and solidarity behind the traditional skills that are at high risk of disappearing. Su’me highlights commitment to environmental sustainability through its encouragement of the use of genuine materials and its dedication of preserving cultural heritage behind craftsmanship.

Design Challenge: The intricate handcrafted blown glass vessels showcases various size and forms in each production, enhancing the product’s individuality. However, the variability makes it hard to establish a standart sizing fort he copper fittings. Despite these obstacles, the inherent uniqueness and the quality of craftsmanship allow the product to be completed with a personal and special touch.
Research: The Su'me table lamp, designed with a combination of blown glass and copper, is one of the products showcased in "An Epiphany in Sustainable Delight," a collection commemorating Architect Sebnem Buhara's 25th anniversary in the industry. Inspired by forms found in nature, the lamp's design interprets these amorphous shapes through craftsmanship. Standing out with its unique design, Su’me stands as more than a lighting fixture; it embodies the essence of exquisite artwork.
Inspiration: Su'me embodies a fusion of fully recyclable blown glass and copper, combining craftsmanship with innovation. This approach ensures every piece has an individuality, highlighting the elegance of organic design. Meticulous craftsmanship gives each product its own unique charm, distinguishing it with elegance and allure.
Project Duration: The project, completed in December 2023, was exhibited in the Signature section at the Paris Maison&Objet Fair in January 2024.
Operation Flow: The Su’me table lamp, powered by city electricity, includes a dimmer feature that enables users to customize their experience by adjusting the light intensity to suit the ambience of their space. This feature enhances the product’s practicality and user-friendliness. The Kefi table lamp shines as a contemporary lighting fixture, excelling both in functionality and aesthetics, thanks to its user-friendly features and unique design.
