About Olka Nesiūtas Krepšys
Olka yra rankų darbo nesiūtas odinis krepšys, įkvėptas Irano negrįžtamos migracijos. Jis susideda iš 54 modulinių natūralios karvės odos dalių, sujungtų tarpusavyje. Šis pynimas atliekamas per įpjovas, kurios išpjaunamos odoje lazeriu. Jo matmenys yra 220 x 220 x 80 mm. Krepšio rankena pagaminta iš riešutmedžio. Olka persų kalba reiškia tėvynę, šiais laikais Irano paaugliai ir jaunimas palieka savo tėvynę, siekdami sukurti geresnį gyvenimą, o migracija gali sukelti įtrūkimus jų prote ir sieloje, net kūne, tačiau kiekvienas įtrūkimas suteikia galimybę naujos gražios gėlės atsiradimui.

- Unique Properties
- Leather is a durable material, but usually the threads used to sew leather crafts, lose their quality sooner than leather, so creating the seamless leather bags can be effective in increasing its quality. Olka is non-stitched, the modular leather pieces are interlocked together, which increases the speed of production, and if needed for repair, the damaged piece can be easily replaced with a new one. It even gives the possibility to the user to order the bag in separate pieces and make her own.
- Dimensions & Packaging
- The dimension of Olka is 220*220*80 millimeter.

- Research
- In the process of design and creation, research was done in the field of interlocking system, modular system, consumer behavior, DIY products and the migration rate of youth Iranian which finally resulted in the creation of this project.

Migration brings mental, emotional and even physical pains, but pain is an opportunity for growth. In this case, every slit provides the basis for creating a new beautiful flower.
