About Time Book Grāmatu balsts
Time Book ir grāmatu balsts, kas paredzēts lietošanai uz rakstāmgalda vai grāmatu plaukta. Katrs grāmatu balsts ir izgatavots no ar rokām pulēta kristāla stikla bloka. Uz virsmas ar sietspiedes tehniku tiek uzklāta īpaša tinte, kas tiek nostiprināta augstā temperatūrā. Kristāla stikla augstais blīvums nodrošina grāmatu balsta stabilitāti lietošanā. Dizains ir minimālistisks funkcijas, formas un materiāla ziņā un atgādina grāmatas formas skulptūru. Forma skaidri atspoguļo funkciju. Drukātajā tekstā izmantots Quinsay Parto burtveidols. Burti MMXIX uz muguriņas ir 2019. gada apzīmējums romiešu cipariem.

- Unique Properties
- Bookends are made by hand-polished crystal glass blocks. Special ink was screen printed on the surface and cured at high temperature. The high density of crystal glass gives them perfect stability when in use.
Time Book is minimalistic in terms of function, form and material, it’s like a book-shaped sculpture. The function is clearly presented by its form.
The text on the book uses Quinsay Parto typeface designed by Time book’s designer. The “MMXIX” on the book spine is the Roman numeral writing of “2019”. - Dimensions & Packaging

- Inspiration
- Time Book is inspired by Marquez’s novel. The opening of “One Hundred Years of Solitude” is printed on Time Book. It is the beginning of a great novel.
- Project Duration
- The project started in April 2018 and finished in December 2018 in Hangzhou(China), and was exhibited in Museum of Contemporary Art Shanghai in February 2019.
- Operation Flow
- Time Book can be placed on a desk or a bookshelf. The high density of crystal glass gives them perfect stability when it is used.stability when in use.
