Par Maestoso Viesnīca

Maestoso ir viesnīca, kas radīta, renovējot esošu ēku no 20. gadsimta 70. gadiem. Dizains piedāvā ilgtspējīgu pieeju veco viesnīcu ēku atjaunošanai, kurām nepieciešams jauns raksturs un jaunas iekārtas. Galvenais elements ir fasādes struktūra, kas atbalsta pievienotos balkonus un saplūdina ēkas izskatu ar apkārtējo ainavu. Fasāde tika parametriski modelēta un izgatavota no koka baļķiem, kas veidoti ar CNC frēzēšanu. Iekštelpās sienas tika suktas, lai atklātu raupjo betona struktūru, savukārt koka un metāla mēbeles piešķir siltumu.

Unikālās īpašības: The Maestoso hotel is a renovation of an existing 1970s building. The project proposes a new and sustainable way of renovating old hotel buildings, which are in need of a new character and new facilities. The main feature of the design is the façade structure, which on one hand, serves as supporting structure for the added balconies, while on the other hand, it blends the buildings appearance with the surrounding landscape.

Ražošanas tehnoloģija: The realization of the project required a completely three dimensional approach to the structure as well as the interior organization of the space. The façade was parametrically modeled and produced with CNC milling out of wooden beams. On the inside, the walls were brushed and cleaned to reveal the rough concrete structure. Furnishing made of wood and metal was inserted to add additional warmth to the interior space.
Iedvesma: The main inspiration for the design can be found in the traditional white fence that surrounds the pastures of the white Lipizzaner horses. The fences are a recognizable regional motif that is carried onto the building envelope, creating a bond between the large hotel volume and the local landscape. The intent of the project was to propose a sustainable approach to hotel renovation, where instead of demolishing an old building, we propose a repurposing and expansion of the existing structure.
Projekta ilgums: The project started in 2018 and was constructed in July 2021 in Lipica, Slovenia.
