About The Leighton Hill Dzīvojamais dzīvoklis

Production Technology
The entire design and production uses environmentally friendly materials and is produced in line with the concept of sustainable development; Italian floor tiles are used at the door; the furniture is embellished with curved bronze shapes; and the two units are opened into one unit to allow sufficient light and air circulation.
Design Challenge
The house is located in Happy Valley, a place rich in historical value in Hong Kong. In the same place and in the same house, several generations live together. New and old cultures gather in the same space." Mahjong” table, an enduring game that adds vitality and communication, is made to the nostalgic space to connect the generations.
Research
Interior design research aims to explore how design can improve the functionality, aesthetics and comfort of a space while meeting the needs of its occupants. Designers, users and owners have in-depth conversations to understand individual requirements and expectations. Test the feasibility of different design solutions through 3D software simulation and actual operation. The designed space provides a place to gather, resulting in changes in residents’ behavioral patterns and communication, and increased guest satisfaction.
Inspiration
Three generations live in the same house; three generations of old and new Hong Kong cultural life coexist in the same home, inspiring the creation of a harmonious and peaceful space.
Project Duration
The project started in April 2022 in Hong Kong and finished in April 2024, and our clients now live in that apartment.
Operation Flow
When considering the use of space, two units were opened into one unit, which has a larger space. In order to facilitate the residents, the design concept of smart home was added, allowing the residents to adjust the home facilities at will to create a comfortable environment.
