About Meduse Jiro Sokitra

Meduse dia jiro sokitra nahazoana aingam-panahy avy amin'ny toeram-ponenan'ny biby an-dranomasina. Ny sombiny tsirairay dia mampitambatra ny simenty Raku sy ny tandroky ny fitaovana fitsonjoana Murano notsofina. Ity jiro ity dia mety ho an'ny anatin'ny trano sy ny ivelany, ary mamorona hetsika hazavana sy aloka eo amin'ny rindrina akaiky azy. Ny hazavana LED miloko maro dia azo lamininta amin'ny alalan'ny fifehezana lavitra. Ny vatan-tsimenty dia natao endrika tamin'ny tanimanga mahatohitra ny afo, nomaina, nodorana, nasiana glazy ary nodorana indray tamin'ny mari-pana 930 degré Celsius, avy eo dia nesorina tao amin'ny fatana raha mbola mafana izy io. Ny fikorontanana ara-pahafanana vokatr'izany dia mahatonga endrika miloko voninkazo mihodikodina, misy taratra vy sy manopy volo.

Production Technology
After the modelling with refractory clay, I begin a deconstruction process of the traditional shape, a 20 day long drying process begins. I go on with the first cooking at 950 degrees celsius, the glazing process and the second cooking into a Raku oven at 930 degrees celsius. The object is removed still white-hot from the oven. Arrangement of the Led lighting system and finally the insertion of the Murano blown glass tentacles.
Design Challenge
Take the pieces out of the oven at 940 degrees celsius and quickly manage the thermal shock in three minutes.
The integration of the glass tentacles on the ceramic base.
Research
The goal is to create lamps that integrate Art and Design. The method is transversal by integrating two techniques ceramics with Murano glass; Through the Deconstruction of art, a process of liberation from the traditional historical form begins to give way to a new syncretic language. Inspiration
The Marine Habitat, I conceive my works as reflections of a recreated nature, the connection between nature and culture is a constant in my work.
