About Froggie Fanamboarana Jiro Latabatra

Froggie dia jiro latabatra nahazoana aingam-panahy avy amin'ny fiainana roa sosona ananan'ny biby mpiaina an-tanety sy anaty rano. Ny endriny dia maneho ilay fotoana iray izay iposahan'ny sahona eo ambonin'ny rano. Ny maso roan'i Froggie no loharanon'ny hazavana roa, ary ny vatana miseho eo ambonin'ny rano kosa no fototra manohana azy. Azo hozongozonina daholo ny maso roa, ka azo ovaina ny toerana misy azy mba hamoronana endrika fanazavana samihafa. Misy bokotra fikasihana ao anaty vavorona tsirairay, ka afaka mampandeha na manajanona ny jiro tsirairay avy ianao. Froggie dia mizaha lalina ny "biomimicry" ho loharanon'ny famoronana mifantoka amin'ny fahafinaretana.

Tags: Frog Lamp, Froggie Lighting, Frog Lighting
Production Technology: Froggie's eyes are made to be bendable. Each nostril is equipped with a touch sensor button where users can turn on and off each light.
Design Challenge: The most challenging part was to figure out proper representations for each design element, for example, how big its eyes should be proportional to the body, and how much its body should be shown, compared to the rest of its submerged part.
Research: Froggie is to explore biomimicry in design. It attempts to translate "double life" of Amphibians into lighting design language.
Inspiration: Froggie was inspired by "double life" of amphibians between land and water. Frogs have the permeable skin, which allows them to breathe through the skin in water. They also breathe through the nostrils above the water surface or on land.
Project Duration: The project began in January 2021 and finished in January 2021 in Banff, Canada.
Operation Flow: Users are able to manipulate its eye shapes by adjusting their positions, which could render various lighting effects.
