About The Terrarium Place Trano Fonenana

Ny aingam-panahy ho an'ity villa tsy manam-paharoa ity dia avy amin'ny fiforonan'ny vatolampy eo amin'ny faritra eo an-toerana, izay tsy mitsahatra mampitolagaga ny jeometria voajanahary. Ny hevitra dia ny handrava ny tranobe nentim-paharazana sy hamorona endrika izay mitambatra amin'ny manodidina azy, amin'ny alàlan'ny fakana endrika voajanahary. Eo afovoan'ny Terrarium Place dia misy tokotany malalaka voaravaka tsara tarehy. Ny efitrano tsirairay ao an-trano dia mipetraka manodidina azy ary noho izany dia misy hazavana tsy manam-petra, rivotra voajanahary ary maitso. Miaraka amin'ny loko telo lehibe ihany no mamakivaky ny habaka manontolo, beton, varahina maivana ary maitso.

Unique Properties: At the center of the Terrarium Place, lies a beautifully landscaped open-air courtyard. Every room in the house is situated around it and thus has endless flow of light, natural air and greenery. With only three main colors carrying through the entire space, concrete, light bronze and green, the sense of harmony and indoor-outdoor balance is further established with a natural stone wall, extended from the exterior to the interior.

Design Challenge: The hardest part of this design activity as an architect was balancing competing priorities and constraints, such as client requirements, site limitations, technical considerations, timeline, and budget, while creating a a beautiful functional and visually appealing design solution.
Inspiration: The inspiration for this unique villa came from rock formations in the local landscape, where nature’s geometry never ceases to amaze. The idea was to break down the traditional building mass and create a design that is integrated with its environs, by emulating natural shapes.
Project Duration: The project started in February 2021 and finished in March 2022 in Kuwait.
