About Gloria Cincin, Galang

Gloria marupokan koleksi perhiasan nan mancakuik cincin jo galang. Rancangan iko diinspirasi dek halo, yaitu lingkaran bacahayo nan dilukih dek seniman di ateh kapalo urang-urang suci sabagai tando kaviran. Batang utamo cincin sarato badan galang dibantuak jo tangan dari kawaik. Batu-batunyo pun dibuek jo tangan dari bahan alami, indak mamakai warna kimia atau bahan tambahan lain, sahinggo batu tu bisa babaliak ka alam. Satiok bagian bisa dipakai sacaro tasandiri atau digabuangkan, sahinggo bantuak jo fungsinyo bisa barubah-ubah. Tujuan dari rancangan iko adolah untuak mangungkapkan paningkatan jiwa manusia dalam sabuah bando nan bisa dipakai.

The stones in this collection are made out of unique, environment friendly and completely natural materials.

Production Technology: The main shanks of the ring and the body of the bracelet are made by wire handforming and the stones’ materials are totally natural and environment friendly and in fact, no sort of chemical colors or substances has been used during the process of making.
Design Challenge: After searching in various features of natural materials, manifold techniques were tested to specify the optimal crafting method; so eventually a crafting process was selected out of sustainable and unique methods for making the stones of this collection.
Research: The design data of this collection and specially its stones, are garnered through information gathering and field & empirical studies.
Inspiration: (Gloria), In the dictionary it means halo, worshiping and praying of God the Almighty.The halo is a luminous ring which artists paint around the head of Saints or Mormons; this was used as the inspiration of the design.
Project Duration: This project started in 2017 and ended in 2019 after making the preliminary prototypes.
