Bodu Resort adolah hotel resort nan talatak di Xishuangbanna, Cino. Hotel ko badiri di ateh tabiang ampek puluah meter dari tanah jo maadok ka rimbo karet sarato rimbo hujan tropis. Sabuah kotak kaco nan tagantuang manjulua dari bangunan ka arah pohon-pohon di sakuliliangnyo jo mambukak ruang dalam ka pamandangan alam. Kayu jati jo kayu elm tuo manjadi struktur utamo. Batu bata, batu, jo anyaman batuang, nan biaso ditamui di kampuang-kampuang satampek, mancaminkan budayo daerah. Bahan-bahan lokal dipiliah untuak mancaminkan warna jo tekstur satampek. Proyek ko maliputi 4000 meter pasagi.

- Unique Properties
- Because it is located opposite a rubber forest and a tropical rain forest, the designer hopes that the whole building can reach out and really extend into the nature. The suspended "glass box" is such a carrier, which is also an excellent punch in place for resort hotels. The designer takes it as the ultimate goal, and the harmonious and symbiotic relationship between the hotel and rubber forest and tropical rain forest can be seen finally.

- The benign interaction among architecture, interior and nature is the most important and the most difficult in the whole design work.
- Research
- Dai Autonomous Prefecture of Xishuangbanna is a special place. First, it is close to the border. Second, it has warm and pure ethnic customs. Therefore, the designer also hopes that the hotel can reflect more contemporary in this strong regional situation, so this case is different from other projects.
- Inspiration
- The hotel is located on a cliff 40 meters away from the ground, embracing thousands of mu of forest in Xishuangbanna, enjoying the mild and humid climate of Southeast Asia and containing rich and diverse ethnic customs. Although the designer has profound experience in hotel design before, how to let people enjoy the unique experience brought by space is his eternal thinking and theme.
- Project Duration
- The project started in May 2017 in Xishuangbanna and finished in December 2019 in Xishuangbanna.
- Operation Flow
- This building space uses teak and old elm as the main structure, as well as the brick and stone bamboo weaving mechanism commonly used in local villages to echo the regional culture.
