Jam Salvador adolah versi modern dari jam nan meleleh karya palukis Spanyol Dali. Proyek ko dimulai pado Maret 2020, pado awak-awak lockdown pertamo. Salamo periode itu, banyak urang di saluruah dunia maraso wakatu alah melambek. Wakatu nan cair dan meleleh manjadi inspirasi untuak desain ko. Tantangannyo adolah manciptoan sabuah objek nan diinginkan nan akan maningkatkan kantor rumah dan mambuekan karajo dari rumah labiah nyaman. Bantuak nan saderhana dan minimalis mamungkinkan item ko fungsional dan cocok jo berbagai gaya rumah.

Unique Properties: Salvador clock is a modern version of the well-known melted clock by Spanish painter Dali.
Simple and minimal shape allows this item to be functional and stylish at the same time.

Production Technology: The clock’s body is made from high quality and lightweight aluminum.
There are two finishing options:
matt black powder coating with classic gold hands.
brushed natural aluminum with black hands.

The choice of material came from the willingness to give the clock a slim and contemporary look.
The choice of a quiet clock mechanism was made to emphasize the perception of time moving at a leisurely pace.
Design Challenge: During the pandemic, people all around the world started to work from home.
The challenge of this project was to create a desirable object that will upgrade any home office and will make the work from home more pleasant.
Research: During the research, I looked for a perfect shape that will be very functional and stable on a shelf while also aesthetic. The design process included 2D hand sketches, paper and cardboard 3D sketches with different shapes and proportions.
Inspiration: The project began on March 2020, at the very beginning of the first lockdown. During this period, lots of people all around the world felt the time has slowed down. Liquid, melted time was the inspiration for Salvador clock.
Project Duration: March 2020 - July 2020
