Folded 01 adolah kurisi makan. Bagian tampek duduak jo sandaran dibuek dari salambar aluminium mantah, nan dilipek jo tangan. Bantuak lipatan tu mambuek kurisi jadi kokoh sarato mampunyoi efek lantuang alami nan manambah kanyamanan. Lambaran aluminium tu dipasang pado rangko baja bawarna, nan mambari detail warna nan aluih. Rancangan iko taruilham dari lipatan sahalai kartu karateh sagi ampek, nan manjadi kokoh sasudah dilipek. Kurisi iko baukuran leba 450 mm, dalam 500 mm, jo tinggi 800 mm. Tujuannyo adolah untuak baliak ka esensi objek jo tampilan nan minimal.

Unique Properties: Folded 01 is the latest design by Erno Dierckx.By experimenting with production methods a dinningchair was born.
Erno Dierckx tries to challenge the way excitingchairs are constructed and goes back to the essence of the product. The object has a minimalistic yet sophisticated look. The chair consists out of honestand durable materials with a subtle color detail.

Production Technology: The chair consist out of a hand bended aluminum sheet. The raw material is combined with a coloured steel frame.
Design Challenge: The main challenge was te find a reliable folding technique with a minimal and beautiful appearance
Inspiration: The idea started while playing with a post-it note used to right down ideas. By folding the square sheet a rigid shape arises. This technique was used to construct a chair. The folded chair consists out of a raw aluminum sheet bend by hand and mounted on a colored steel frame.
Project Duration: Project started Februari 2018 in Antwerp Belgium and finished november 2019. First time exhibited Contemporary design fair Brussels.
Operation Flow: Folded 01 is a dinning chair made out of a single sheet raw aluminum. The folding technique gives the chair the needed comfort and has a natural bending effect
