About Gold Wind of Life Приврзок

Златен Ветар на Животот е приврзок изработен со технологија на 3Д печатење. Основниот материјал е родиумиран месинг, а приврзокот е спарен со деликатен синџир од 9-каратно бело злато тип „курб“. Design Challenge
The challenge was to design a visually appealing pendant that incorporates Greek culture and minimalistic style while overcoming the limitations of 3D printing technology and ensuring durability and lightness. The objective was to create a visually striking and meaningful pendant that meets technical and material requirements.
Research
This research project investigates the creation of a visually striking pendant using 3D printing technology and rhodium-plated brass. It incorporates elements of Greek culture and minimalist design inspired by Zoi Roupakia, as well as a line from a poem by Odysseus Elytis. The designer utilized CAD software to create a digital model of the pendant, which was refined and printed using a high-resolution 3D printer. The project demonstrates how cultural elements and artwork can be incorporated into the design process to create a unique and meaningful product.
Inspiration
This piece of art is influenced by Zoi Roupakia's minimalistic style and draws inspiration from elements of Greek culture. Specifically, it is inspired by the line "Gold wind of life..." from "The Little Mariner," a poem by Odysseus Elytis, a Greek poet who was awarded the Nobel Prize. This artwork is also a tribute to Alekos Fassianos, a renowned Greek painter.
Project Duration
The project started in 2018, in Cambridge, UK.
Operation Flow
The pendant is easy to operate, with the user attaching the chain and securing it using the clasp. It can be worn as a statement piece or a subtle accessory, adding sophistication and elegance to any outfit. Interacting with the pendant involves admiring the intricate design and texture achieved through 3D printing. The use of rhodium-plated brass and delicate 9ct white gold chain adds luxury and durability, complementing the overall aesthetic.
