Your innovative fusion of ancient Egyptian symbolism with modern packaging design in Wine Black Pyramid Limited Edition is striking - could you elaborate on how you translated the architectural grandeur of pyramids into a wine bottle design that captures both historical essence and contemporary luxury?

Ancient Egypt is always associated with something mystical, very ancient and magnificent. The idea came to create something unusual in the style of the ancient kingdom, using the packaging of the pyramidal shape and bottles of wine personifying the gods-4 elements of the world, water, air, earth and fire. In fact, this is presented more a fantastic story in the packaging of this design, as a small fantastic film, where each viewer can see their own continuation of the mystical story.

The luminescent symbols representing the four elements in Wine Black Pyramid Limited Edition create an enchanting nocturnal display - what inspired you to incorporate this interactive element, and how does it enhance the storytelling aspect of your design?

For this effect, special fluorescent coatings were used so that the symbols could glow in the dark! This technique creates a very magical visual effect, it seems to beckon the viewer to see and solve the mystery of the luminous symbol. In creating this effect, I wanted to create more mystery for packaging where famous forms of ancient Egypt are used. The symbols glow in the dark on the bottles themselves, which makes the packaging itself more significant and possibly fuels the interest to buy it in order to be convinced of the power of such an effect.

Your choice of materials for Wine Black Pyramid Limited Edition - from black metal to gold foil and stone lids - creates a compelling tactile experience - how did you arrive at this specific combination to evoke the feeling of ancient Egyptian royalty?

The metal clothes on the bottles represent military armor, where the Kings of Egypt were not only rulers, but also skillful wars. The texture of the metal itself was not chosen by chance, it comes in cold shades to emphasize the warm shade of gold on the packaging itself which has ancient Egyptian symbols. The bottles themselves are made of glossy black glass, this effect helps not to shade the metal texture that is present on top of them, and at the same time is an independent component. It can be said to be presented as a background for the top other texture of the bottle. Stone covers represent the crowns of kings, but at the same time they are made of stone with hieroglyphs, which also emphasize the direct relationship to ancient Egypt through stone pyramids.

The structural engineering of Wine Black Pyramid Limited Edition, where four triangular packages unite to form a complete pyramid, is remarkably innovative - what technical challenges did you face in ensuring both individual stability and collective harmony?

The packaging design was carefully worked out, but there were difficulties how to design the doors themselves that open opposite the bottle inside, there were many options how to make the opening mechanism and the right decision came in the final. It was conceived from the very beginning to make one full package of the pyramid from four different triangular packages, I wanted to show what this is because of itself one object that can be disassembled and assembled like lego. This whole idea is conceived in the same way with the effect of mysticism as the packaging design itself, and the buyer, if desired, can be like a small child who wants to buy all 4 packages in order to see what happens at the end when it is fully assembled.

The transformation of Wine Black Pyramid Limited Edition from day to night, with its luminescent symbols, adds an element of discovery - how does this dual identity reflect your broader vision about the relationship between packaging design and user experience?

The current buyer is always very spoiled with new shapes, colors and a huge selection of visual design. Every year everything changes rapidly, and is updated, people want to see something new, unusual, or better well forgotten old in a new format, I think this design is just about that. The design of Wine Black Pyramid Limited Edition uses the technique of making a package that looks in the light of day in one design and at night due to small details as luminous elements, it is transformed and has a different look. This always adds interest to the design of the object.

In developing Wine Black Pyramid Limited Edition, you created distinct personalities for each element - fire, earth, water, and air - through design - could you share your creative process in visually interpreting these abstract concepts?

Ancient Egypt has always been very sensitive to the elements of the earth and it was an interesting idea to use this technique in design to interestingly show these four elements as a graphic element. The concept of using icons that would fully reflect all these elements without using different colors and different textures in the packages themselves was developed. That is, the main idea was to show 4 different elements only due to graphic elements that would differ from each other, but at the same time the design of the bottles and boxes would be the same.

The silhouette of Wine Black Pyramid Limited Edition bottles resembles ancient Egyptian kings - how did you balance historical accuracy with modern design aesthetics to achieve this distinctive shape?

the shapes of the bottles were chosen so that their silhouette resembled a person, but the elegance of the shapes showed that this is a figure of the nobility, it is stately and has a flexible relief. Stone lids represent the crowns of kings and give them a more statuesque appearance. Also, the metal texture on top of the bottles themselves should resemble armor, clothes for the campaigns of royal persons in those distant times, but performed by a new interpretation of the modern look.

Your use of black glass and metal armor in Wine Black Pyramid Limited Edition creates a powerful visual statement - what led you to choose these specific materials and finishes to convey luxury and mystique?

The black color of the bottles should be like a canvas on which other relief details will be depicted, such as metal armor and a stone lid. The color is chosen in black so that it does not take all the attention, but at the same time it is an independent graphic element. The gloss emphasizes the luxury belonging of this package to the design, it has a reflection, and the metal shape dressed on top works well with the reflective light on the bottles, because it itself is made of matte metal, which is also an independent design element. Each element in the design is individual, but perfectly combines with each other creating one composition.

The dimensional considerations of Wine Black Pyramid Limited Edition seem precisely calculated - how did you determine the optimal proportions to ensure both practical functionality and visual impact?

All packaging was accurately created in the 3rd program and accurate calculations were made to see how the packaging itself and the bottles in it would look together from a technical point of view. The dimensions were thought out and the shapes were adjusted to exactly such dimensions, otherwise the bottle would not fit into the box and 4 packages could not fit into one shape with each other.

Looking at the future impact of Wine Black Pyramid Limited Edition, which recently earned recognition with an A' Design Award, how do you envision this design influencing the evolution of luxury beverage packaging?

I want to believe that my design will allow to look at the wine packaging from a different angle and make the wine packaging more diverse. Usually wine has a more standard design in contrast to liqueurs, where there is really a great variety and choice of material and forms, but wine is usually very boring and there is no development of fantasy in graphic terms of shapes.

Your innovative approach to showcasing African wildlife through the dual-sided packaging of Wine Africa Limited Edition is striking - could you walk us through how you developed this unique concept of pairing different animals on each box?

The idea was to create something unique emphasizing African flavor and directly related to African themes. Packages with animals of each species were chosen so that in a pair of graphic elements they would look like one whole.

The natural fiber cardboard material choice for Wine Africa Limited Edition reflects a commitment to sustainability - what influenced your decision to prioritize eco-friendly materials while maintaining the design's premium aesthetic?

I love eco-friendly materials and always try to use more of them in my designs. They always reflect a greater connection of interaction with nature than their more chemical counterparts, even if they look more spectacular! Moreover, the packaging design is directly related to the natural flora and ecosystem of Africa, which is the base of everything. It was logical to take natural design components as a basis!

The distinctive patterns on each Wine Africa Limited Edition bottle mirror animal textures through lines and spots - could you elaborate on your creative process in translating organic animal patterns into sophisticated bottle designs?

Were carefully studied all the types of animal colors that I used in my Wine of Africa packaging and after that a graphic frame of lines was formed that personified this or that animal by transferring spots and graphic forms without using colors, so that the buyer could always intuitively understand which animal this or that graphic detail on the package belongs to. It's like a mind and logic game.

The color palette of Wine Africa Limited Edition spans red, blue, orange and yellow wines - what inspired this bold chromatic choice and how does it connect to your vision of representing different African landscapes?

Africa is a stunning land with many-sided landscape colors, in every corner of which you can find something different from the neighboring lands of Africa. This and the riot of colors and the transmission of halftones and delightful pastel shades, everything mixed in their landscape variety. Red shades are the fiery African sunset, blue sky, yellow colors of shrouds and scorched grass and orange colors of many animals living there. And wines are a good addition to eco variety because their lands are very fertile and give a wonderful wine!

In developing Wine Africa Limited Edition, how did you overcome the challenge of creating cohesive interactions between different animal pairs while maintaining each creature's distinct characteristics?

To do this, carefully selected animals that can interact well with each other graphically and be as one whole, but at the same time have their own personality and a well-read line of forms that allows you to recognize the figure of an animal without difficulty. The work was painstaking on these details and took a lot of time, but it seems that everything turned out well!

The matt glass surface with glossy pattern coating on Wine Africa Limited Edition bottles creates an intriguing textural contrast - what led you to this specific finishing combination?

Creating a gloss in combination with a matte surface always looks great, because the gloss sets off the matte surface, but at the same time the matte effect does not come to the fore and allows the gloss to be an individual element that attracts eyes. The matte surface of the bottles here plays more of a role as a canvas on which paintings painted with glossy paint are depicted. Such an artistic plot.

Looking at the research behind Wine Africa Limited Edition, how did you select these specific eight African animals to represent the diversity of the continent's fauna?

I wanted to find more elegant forms for this design and the animals were chosen that possess them well while they should show a really complete variety of African flora through these 8 figures. A graceful giraffe and an interesting zebra seemed to be intertwined in one graphic element without losing their individuality, an elegant leopard and sophisticated cheetah, an unusual monkeys-red colobus and classic colobus, as well as an elegant chameleon-Namaqua and graceful Green Parson. These animals cover different lands of Africa well, for example chameleons live in Madagascar more, which are also part of this land!

The double aperture design of Wine Africa Limited Edition allows light to illuminate the wines' colors - could you share the development process behind this innovative visibility feature?

The play of light through the cutout hole in the package always looks very impressive, it gives the effect of a glow like a gemstone and is achieved through the prism of glass, which will truly open in light or sunlight! This visual effect enhances the color contrast of the package and makes it lively, and not just static in 2d graphics. The 3D effect is achieved by light passing through the hole in the package.

As a photographer turned designer, how did your background in photography influence your approach to composition and visual storytelling in Wine Africa Limited Edition?

The experience of a photographer always helps me a lot to build a contrasting composition between light and shadow, to look for the right light in the performance of graphic details and then when I make renders of my works, to see how well the design turns out on conceptual models before their real production. Studying photography as art, this experience gives an excellent base to see your designs in the volume of light and colors and treats it as art, and not just like some new idea of packaging.

Following the Bronze A' Design Award recognition for Wine Africa Limited Edition, how do you envision evolving this concept of cultural storytelling through packaging design in your future work?

I would like to work with African interested companies to further promote this idea as a new brand and create from this something more than only four packs of wine. It would be an interesting international experience.

Your innovative dual-sided design approach for Liqueur Black Milk Packaging challenges conventional packaging norms - could you elaborate on how this concept evolved from initial sketches to the final realization?

The main idea in creating this packaging was the individuality of the product and not similar to other products presented in the line of liqueurs, a thorough analysis was made so as not to encounter similar work of other designers and create something unusual and memorable. the idea came quite quickly to create such a design with a mirror color of black and white and the shape of the bottle itself quickly took shape from the sketch to the 3d model

The striking interplay between black and white in Liqueur Black Milk Packaging creates a powerful visual narrative - what inspired you to explore this dramatic contrast, and how does it reflect the product's unique character?

To create a package in just 2 colors like black and white was a spontaneous idea, in which the main idea was to find an unusual design where you can imagine 2 not bright colors in a bright performance and I think it turned out not bad. Plus, the colors were the search for the forms themselves, combined with the smooth bends of the details on the packaging itself, which only emphasized the grace of black and white did not drown it out with its brightness of light.

The integration of cow spots as a graphic element in Liqueur Black Milk Packaging bridges the gap between traditional milk imagery and premium liqueur presentation - could you share the thought process behind this distinctive design choice?

Indeed, it was a funny idea to present liquor partly looking like a rustic cow's milk product, but also wanted to beat it due to the fact that a luxury product can quite harmoniously have cow stains on its design, but at the same time remain a luxury brand due to unique forms and interesting presentation of graphic content.

The natural materials selection for Liqueur Black Milk Packaging, including uncoated paper and wooden lid, creates an intriguing contrast with the premium liqueur category - what led you to choose these specific materials and how do they enhance the overall design concept?

The packaging was nevertheless made with a hint of cow's milk and natural materials as the main part used in this packaging as wood and uncoated cardboard, which refer to nature, this creates an excellent composition, as well as this interaction with environmental protection. Everyone is accustomed to the fact that luxury goods are always expensive materials like gold, or something very difficult in terms of technical characteristics, for example, when printing varnish and foil, but I believe that it is possible to present luxury goods through forms and original ideas using more environmentally friendly materials.

Your Silver A' Design Award-winning Liqueur Black Milk Packaging demonstrates remarkable attention to interactive design elements - how did you develop the pull-ring mechanism, and what role does this functional aspect play in the overall user experience?

As mentioned earlier, this design has a reference to something rustic and the Bügel cork complements this idea perfectly. Usually such covers have bottles of beer and originated in the 19th century, and since it is still a liquor, and has an alcoholic degree, the use of such a cork was a good idea that would complement the overall design of the composition, will remind you that this is still an alcoholic product, but will not lose its slightly rustic style while doing so.

The dimensional proportions of Liqueur Black Milk Packaging create a striking vertical presence - could you discuss how these specific measurements were determined and their importance in achieving the desired visual impact?

the cardboard package essentially follows the inner shape of the bottle itself, since the bottle is made of borosilicate glass, it has 2 physical shapes, outer and inner, the main package outlines the inner shape of the bottle and, in fact, after opening the package itself and removing the bottle itself, the buyer may be slightly surprised that its shape is slightly different, it's like a big intrigue in little things, but still a nice intrigue.

The minimalist labeling approach in Liqueur Black Milk Packaging stands out in the typically ornate liqueur category - what influenced your decision to maintain such restraint in the typography and information design?

Good question, the main idea was to create luxury packaging among a huge amount of similar goods, but as mentioned in the question, everyone basically makes the liquor packages very ornate, that it is possible that they are losing sight of each other, here the emphasis was placed on minimalism, what fundamentally distinguishes Black Milk liqueur from all other liqueurs and puts it in a level of non-competition for visual memorization, therefore, the packaging does not resemble a typical liqueur packaging and thereby achieves 100 percent penetration into the memory about product. This is the essence of this design.

The double-glass bottle design within Liqueur Black Milk Packaging creates fascinating visual effects - could you explain the technical challenges in achieving this unique construction and how it enhances the product presentation?

The whole bottle is made of borosilicate glass, a very light material, partly resembles plastic in weight, but at the same time it is environmentally friendly and still it is glass.Such glass allows you to create double walls and due to this, the product itself looks interesting. I wanted to create something not similar to the design of other liqueurs, which are quite massive in weight, and at the same time something weightless and minimalistic.

Looking at the evolution of Liqueur Black Milk Packaging from February to June 2017, what were the most significant design iterations that led to the final award-winning solution?

Basically the final work on the shape of the bottle, its technical characteristics, and the drawing of graphic forms on cardboard packaging, there were controversial points, but gradually everything came to the same look that can be seen now.

As Liqueur Black Milk Packaging challenges traditional category conventions, how do you envision this design influencing future approaches to premium beverage packaging?

I hope that my design will allow to take a fresh look at the possibility of luxury packaging for liquors using not only classic forms of heavy glass and a large number of patterns. After all, everything in our world does not stand still and has evolution.
