About Waves Rantai Leher
Waves ialah sebuah rantai leher yang diperbuat daripada perak sterling kitar semula. Bentuk rantai leher ini meniru pergerakan air dan rambut ikal. Permukaan kusam dihasilkan dengan teknik kusam jarum dan menyerupai suede. Kepingan asal untuk penuangan dan pembuatan acuan dibentuk dengan tangan, dengan melenturkan kepingan lilin panas menggunakan besi pembentuk. Setiap elemen rantai leher mempunyai gelombang yang lebih besar di tengahnya, dikelilingi oleh gelombang yang lebih kecil, untuk mencipta pergerakan semula jadi dan reka bentuk yang seimbang. Rantai leher ini bersifat meriah namun ringan untuk dipakai. Peraknya tidak disadur, dan pengeluaran dijalankan di Finland.

- Unique Properties
- The design project has started from the idea of womanhood diversity and a need to create something that is precious. Waves necklace form expresses water and hair. The necklaces matt surface is suede like but made from silver. The original piece for casting and mold making has been hand made by bending warm wax sheet with form giving irons. The flowing form was accomplished by controlled artisan skills. Casted silver parts have been finished by hand and joined together. The necklace is made from recycled silver in Finland.

Recycled sterling silver - Design Challenge
- The hardest part of the design process was to make something as balanced and at the same time ambitiously beautiful for women to wear. Fitting is always important and I has to come naturally.
- Research
- Waves project started with my admiration to women of all kinds. I see women as unique individuals who deserve more encouragement for themselves. It should be easy to love yourself everyday no matter what. First models were made from reindeer suede. Then the experimental design process moved onwards to wax sheets. I formed wax with heat and different shaped jewelry making irons and hand tools. The final product has the light feeling and the looks of suede even though it is made from silver. Waves necklace has grown in to a jewelry set with bracelet, two different sized pendants and earrings.
- Inspiration
- Waves necklace is based on Botticellis painting The birth od Venus. Waves is a praise to womanhood in all of its forms. The jewelry design reflects waves of water and hair and the curves of a woman.
- Project Duration
- The project started in September 2017 and the first necklace was finished in September 2018 in Sonkajarvi, Finland.
- Operation Flow
- Necklace is massive and very festive but still very light for its looks. Waves finishes the red carpet look for everyone who wears it. The Waves necklaces length can be adjusted to fit different sized women. Each piece adds the length approximately 2 cm.
