About Irises Cincin
Irises ialah cincin berganda yang diilhamkan oleh sebuah lukisan karya Vincent van Gogh. Lukisan tersebut memaparkan bunga-bunga biru dengan daun panjang berbentuk pedang. Pada cincin ini, bunga-bunga tersebut diwakili oleh nilam biru serta topaz London dan topaz langit, manakala emas terukir membentuk daun-daun yang seolah-olah bergerak. Cincin ini diperbuat daripada emas 18 karat secara tangan, dengan kemasan matte dan tetapan cakar (prong settings). Ciptaan ini ringan dan selesa dipakai. Tujuannya adalah untuk membawa warna dan bentuk alam semula jadi serta seni lukisan ke dalam sebuah objek yang boleh dipakai.

- Unique Properties
- Van Gogh’s irises have blue flowers with sword shaped leaves that are long and laminar. The flowers are represented in this double ring by sapphires and topazes while the sculptured gold conveys the leaves in their movement. The double ring is both comfortable and stunning!

Handmade, matte finish and prong setting - Design Challenge
- During the search for the idealized materials, some types of gemstones were not located and some cut formats were unavailable. The acquisition of gemstones in other formats and types was carried out and a new design was performed adapting to the materials found.
- Research
- After extensive research on Van Gogh's paintings (there are almost 2000 works), the painting was chosen that would be the inspiration for the design. Then research was carried out on the painted tree (understanding of what the painter saw to be inspired). Realized the ideal design of the piece and choice of the ideal materials for execution.
