About Pineal Fungsi Utama: Headset Realiti Maya

Teks Buku: Pineal ialah headset realiti maya berdiri sendiri yang berfungsi tanpa memerlukan komputer atau telefon bimbit. Headset ini seberat 436 gram dan diperbuat daripada bahan yang ringan. Bentuk yang ringkas dan ketiadaan butiran yang rumit menjadikan headset ini mudah digunakan. Ergonomik pengawal, tali sandang dan bantalan telah dipertingkatkan untuk keselesaan dan sokongan yang lebih baik. Tali sandang berfabrik boleh dilaraskan mengikut saiz kepala, manakala bantalan menggunakan fabrik yang boleh bernafas. Headset dan pengawal disambungkan secara automatik melalui Bluetooth. Namanya merujuk kepada kelenjar pineal dalam otak.

Unique Properties: Pineal is a standalone VR headset and can be used without the need for a computer or mobile phone. Pineal is lighter because it is made of lighter materials. It is easier to use due to the design factors and pure form and avoiding any complexity. The ergonomics of the controllers have been improved for more comfort while using. The ergonomics of the strap and cushion have also been improved to increase balance and support.

Production Technology: The product has fine details and textures on the surface, which are preserved by CNC molding to preserve them during the manufacturing process, and finally made by heat model injection. The strap is made of fabric material that is secured with plastic and is adjustable to the size of the head. The cushion is made of breathable fabric material.
Design Challenge: Encouraging users to use a VR headset is one of the most important challenges for VR headset manufacturers. Improving the design and beauty of the product, improving the quality of use, shrinking and becoming lighter than the existing models, improving the ergonomics of the controllers, headset strap and cushions, have been examples of the challenges of this project.
Research: VR is a young technology. Its potentials and users' needs must be constantly evaluated. The research was conducted in two parts and in parallel. The first part: VR user research. This part included researching user feedback on previous uses and classifying and analyzing them. The second part: ergonomic research of the product. Ergonomic research and studies were conducted to improve the ergonomic form of the controllers and the cushion form of the headset for better and easier use.
Inspiration: The name of this VR headset is Pineal. It is inspired by the Pineal gland. The Pineal is the name of a gland in the brain that is located deep in the brain and between the left and right hemispheres of the brain. The Pineal gland has historically been the symbol of the third eye. The Pineal headset is the third eye that enables the experience of seeing the world of virtual reality.
Project Duration: This 17-month project was announced in February 2021.
Operation Flow: Turn on the headset by pressing the power button on the product. Put the headset on. You can adjust the straps to fit your head easily. If necessary, adjust the distance between the lenses and your eyes with the adjusting scroll wheel under the product. When the device is turned on, the controllers will connect to the headset automatically. The headset and controllers are connected together via Bluetooth. Pineal is a standalone VR headset and can be used without the need for a computer or mobile phone. If you need a Wi-Fi internet connection, hold the power button for 5 seconds and then select your desired network by the motion controller and connect to it. Pure design and avoidance of formal and functional complexities, has made the process of visual use simple, which makes working with it easy and enjoyable for everyone.
