About Wonderful Village Kompleks Kediaman
Wonderful Village ialah kompleks kediaman yang terletak berhampiran stesen keretapi laju Chiayi. Tapak ini dikelilingi oleh tiga jalan, maka garis bangunan ditarik ke belakang untuk mewujudkan empat bangunan bebas yang dipisahkan oleh taman dan dataran merentasi jarak 40 meter. Jarak yang luas ini memberikan privasi kepada penghuni serta membawa masuk cahaya matahari dan udara segar dari dua sisi. Kehijauan, cahaya matahari, udara dan air diintegrasikan ke dalam pelan untuk membentuk persekitaran kehidupan yang sihat. Susun atur tapak berbentuk segi empat dan lambang tangkai padi pada fasad bangunan mengimbau kembali warisan pertanian Chiayi.

- Unique Properties
- Located in the specific area of Chiayi HSR station, the architecture is by the side of three roads. Thus, the building line of the construction is planned to be set back, creating a set of 4 independent buildings with gardens and squares in between the 40-meters distance. A decent wide-ranged space in between these buildings creates privacy for the residents and great introduction of two-sided sunlight and fresh air.

- Production Technology
- Due to the fact that Chiayi is known for its agriculture industry, the building lot is designed as a four-square-shape, symbolizing "field and land" in Chinese character. The rice spike emblem is as well applied on the facades of the buildings. These two ideas used in architectural language embody the origin of the land, what nurtured the city. While maintaining the agricultural feature, it also integrates tradition and novelty to bring in a different architectural style in Chiayi.
- Design Challenge
- Located in the center of the specific area of the HSR zone, the design not only combines traditional impressions of Chiayi's rice fields, it also creates a different architecture for the city and the residents. An architecture design epitomizes the origin of what nurtures the city, the nature, building up a new symbolic landmark as Chiayi's first step of agricultural transformation.
- Research
- The arrangement of lower building coverage ratio allows more greenery, gardens and squares to be designed in the community. It not only allows fresher air to ventilate in between but also sunlight to come through. What's more, solar panels are installed as well on the rooftops, making good use of Chiayi's all-year dazzling sunlight. Turning natural energy into electricity for public use, the arrangement achieves energy saving.
- Inspiration
- Through focusing on integrating four main elements: greenery, sunlight, air, and water, into the construction, the designer creates a healthy living environment with its spatial arrangement, orientation, and position. The residents get to live safely and relax tranquilly with nature.
- Project Duration
- This project will be finished in December 2024 in Chiayi, Taiwan.
- Operation Flow
- A high-rise space inside is designed with smooth lines and various lightings, creating a public area with multiple transitions. Applying elegant wooden materials for flooring and walls, different textures of stones and ceramic are used to make contrast. As for the lobby, reception, and dining area, the darker and stronger tone is set with luxurious chandeliers to welcome the guests and residents.
