About Stealth Jaket

Stealth ialah jaket bulu angsa (down jacket) yang boleh dilipat menjadi bantal berbentuk U. Bahagian bawah dilipat ke atas untuk membentuk sokongan leher, dan kancing pelaras digunakan untuk menyesuaikannya dengan leher. Binaan pemisah fabrik mengekalkan pakaian ini ringan serta memudahkan pencucian. Isian yang digunakan ialah bulu angsa (goose down) dengan kuasa isian 700 dan kandungan bulu sebanyak 90 peratus. Fabrik luar diperbuat daripada gentian buluh yang boleh diperbaharui, manakala fabrik dalam pula menggunakan gentian grafin. Jahitan dibuat menggunakan benang nilon berkekuatan tinggi dengan teknik jahitan jarum berkembar. Matlamat reka bentuk ini adalah untuk memberikan kehangatan serta ruang berehat semasa perjalanan.

Unique Properties: The Stealth U Pillow Down Jacket represents a pioneering advancement in outerwear design, seamlessly integrating the insulative properties of a down jacket with the ergonomic comfort of a U-shaped pillow. This innovative garment challenges conventional designs by concealing its multifunctional nature within a streamlined silhouette, utilizing proprietary fabric-separator technology.

Design Challenge: The toughest part of this design activity was balancing creativity with practical feasibility. Internally, we faced the challenge of innovating beyond traditional down jacket designs to achieve warmth while ensuring slimness and multifunctionality. From a societal perspective, the product had to be stylish and meet modern consumers' environmental expectations. External obstacles included compliance with laws, production technology limits, and information accessibility.
Research: We conducted a design study aimed at developing a product that combines the functions of a down jacket and a U-shaped pillow. Through market research, user interviews, and prototype testing, we gathered feedback from travelers. Using design software and 3D printing technology, we created prototypes that participants tested and provided suggestions for improvement. The results showed that this design is not only warm but can also easily transform into a comfortable U-shaped pillow. This highlights the importance of user experience and opens new market opportunities with an eco-friendly and practical product.
Inspiration: The Stealth U Pillow Down Jacket was inspired by the need for multifunctional, portable outerwear. We integrated a down jacket with a U-shaped pillow to provide warmth and comfort, addressing the bulkiness of traditional jackets. Our unique fabric-separator technology ensures lightweight, compact folding, and superior insulation. Advanced materials enhance performance and sustainability.
Project Duration: The project began in Shenzhen, China in December 2022, and concluded in Shenzhen, China in December 2023. It became available for sale on major e-commerce platforms and in offline stores starting in April 2024.
Operation Flow: This down jacket is designed for comfort and ease. Simply fold the jacket upward from the bottom to quickly transform it into a U-shaped pillow, perfect for resting during travels. Adjust the buckles to fit your neck size for personalized support. For the best experience, make sure to adjust the buckles correctly before use and follow care instructions when cleaning. This design excels because it offers warmth along with convenience for those who want to rest on the go.
