- Production Technology
- Hull and Deck utilizes modern vacuum infusion technology that produces a more consistent, stronger and higher quality laminate than can be achieved using traditional hand lay up methods. Not only does the vacuum infusion process allow us to build a stronger, better quality boat, the process greatly reduces the amount of emissions produced compared to traditional hand lay-up methods making it better for the environment and creating a safer, healthier and more responsible workplace.
- Design Challenge
- To reach the conclusion of this project were required four years of research, several trips to different countries to visit exhibitions, vendors and shipyards, and many hours of CAD designs to achieve a project of this level.
- Research
- The boats produced by the infusion process are much lighter, which generates a positive spiral of benefits. Being lighter the boat, engine need less power, consume less fuel, need less fuel tank, that is less weight in the boat, less material required for construction which means lower cost of construction. A sandwich construction with the infusion system have a higher thermal insulation, which requires an air conditioning system of lower power and less power produced by the generator. All this guarantees a process less harmful to the environment.
- Inspiration
- The exterior design of the project Portofino 35 Fly was inspired by the straight lines of the Lamborghini Aventador. The interior was inspired by modern residential lines. With this set came to an exceptional design compared to other models in the Yacht market.
- Project Duration
- 12 Months for project and construct the Yacht in Jacareí-SP / Brasil.
The Official launch will be in the city of Rio de Janeiro in April 2012 at RIO BOAT SHOW. - Operation Flow
