About Hong Hai Ju Plaza and SCPG Incity Bini b'Użu Mħallat

Hong Hai Ju Plaza u SCPG Incity huwa kumpless urban b'użu mħallat fiċ-ċentru tal-belt ta' Ji'nan, iċ-Ċina. L-iżvilupp jgħaqqad ċentru kummerċjali, distrett ta' stil ta' ħajja fil-beraħ, uffiċċji, lukanda u appartamenti fuq sit ta' 59,100 metru kwadru. Il-kantuniera tal-grigal hija miftuħa bħala pjazza kulturali, li tħares lejn il-Katidral ta' Hongjialou, punt ta' riferiment storiku tal-belt. Fiċ-ċentru tal-pjazza tinsab is-Sister House rinnovata, li għandha mitt sena u timmarka l-punt tad-dħul. Id-distrett fil-beraħ jgħaqqad mal-mall ġewwieni fuq diversi livelli.

Unique Properties: Creating energetic urban public space with pedestrian friendly scale while respecting the existing urban context is the core design principle for this large scale urban complex. We opened up the northeast corner of the site, right cross street from Hongjialou Cathedral which is a historical landmark of the city, and dedicated it as a cultural plaza. At the center of this plaza is the renovated 100-year-old Sister House. This unique experience marks the entry point. The outdoor shopping precinct offers services and opportunities in culture, leisure and entertainment, it is an attractive new hub and the new landmark in Ji’nan that attracts a wide range of customers and visitors. The outdoor district shares connections with indoor mall on multiple levels, which encourages a more diversified shopping experience.
Dimensions & Packaging: The mixed-use program is comprised of a shopping center, an outdoor lifestyle district, office, SOHO, hotel and apartments. Site Area:59,100 m2；

Design Challenge: Located in the city center of Ji Nan, the project site is surrounded by historical buildings and crowded business district. By replacing existing popular but rather chaotic street shops with a massive new development, our goal is to not only introduce a modern indoor shopping mall for the neighborhood, but also continue and encourage the great tradition of vibrant urban sidewalks and public spaces.
Inspiration: Occupying the prime location within the core business district of central Ji‘nan, this project is positioned to celebrate the city by amplifying the spirit of the street and blend into the historical context within.
Project Duration: The project started in April 2013 in Jinan and finished in June 2019 in Ji'nan City,China
Operation Flow: By redefining the historical neighborhood in the city center, this project has became an instant urban destination and life hub for the public.
