About Bamboo Art Disinn Intern ta' Ristorant
Bamboo Art hija interjur ta' ristorant li jkopri 855 metru kwadru f'Kaohsiung, it-Tajwan. Id-disinn ġie ispirat mill-ixkiwers tal-bambu użati fil-barbecues. Grilji ta' linji rqaq f'kulur iswed affumikat u kannella ċar ifakkru fil-mudelli tal-ixkiwers u joħolqu kuntrast kalm ġewwa spazju mgħobbi bl-attività. Intgħażlu materjali lokali minflok dawk importati sabiex jitnaqqsu l-emissjonijiet u t-tniġġis marbuta mat-trasport bl-ajru u bil-baħar. L-azzar galvanizzat mhux miksi, il-pajpijiet tal-egżost mhux miżbugħa, il-lampi li jiffrankaw l-enerġija, ħajt bi ksi ta' ġebel goff u pannelli solari fuq il-bejt iżommu l-materjali fl-istat oriġinali tagħhom. Ħafna mill-materjali jistgħu jiġu riċiklati.

- Production Technology
- This design project advocates the original appearances of materials such as the uncoated galvanized steel, the unpainted exhausted pipes, the energy-saving lamps, the stone veneer main wall with rough texture, and the solar panels on the roof.
- Design Challenge
- Meanwhile considering the client’s needs and manifesting the concept of space, the designer who rather than using the splendid decorative materials in fact worked with the natural materials with low values of color gradient. Most of the building materials were recyclable and reusable, thus fulfilling the responsibility of being as a designer and leaving a better environment for future generations.
- Inspiration
- The design idea of this project was originated from the bamboo skewers used in barbecues. Mimicking bamboo skewers that display the smoked colors and the tossed-away patterns, the grilles consisting of lines in smoked back and light brown colors attaching to each other manifest the contrast sense of quiescence in a crowded space, where therefore exposes the visual sense of misplacement space.
- Project Duration
- The project finished in May 2020 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
- Operation Flow
- Most designers in their design process have gradually and unintentionally pursued the new-fashioned and specific materials, the sophisticated design skills, and luxurious brands. People become careless about wastes and pollutions behind the story of design. The natural environmental may come as the first victim. Those consequences will finally come to us, who live on this mother land.
