About Silver Lining Restorant u Bar

Bar tajjeb huwa post perfett biex issaħħaħ il-ħajja tiegħek u kultant issewwi l-burdata tiegħek, kemm jekk tkun ma' ħbiebek jew waħdek. Dan il-każ huwa bar tal-fużjoni jinsab fl-ewwel sular ta' bini antik fiċ-ċentru ta' Taipei. Billi jgħaqqad il-preferenza tas-sid għall-arkati u l-messijiet eżotiċi, id-disinj jivviżwalizza l-kunċett ta' Lejl permezz tal-Wied. Tonijiet ta' aħdar skur jimlewu l-ispazju, filwaqt li l-kolonni fiċ-ċentru jaqsmu l-kamra fi sezzjonijiet tal-kċina u tal-poġġi. B'ispazju limitat xi ftit, żewġ żoni bl-għamla ta' L inverti jippermettu moviment intern mingħajr xkiel u esperjenża ta' ikel komda.

Credits, team members and technical details provided by the designer.

Unique Properties: Green walls and doors, with folding windows that open horizontally, not only fulfill the fundamental needs for a bar, but also provide the customers with better care and protection, especially during the pandemic.
Dimensions & Packaging: 99.1m2
Tags: Hsiao-ching Hu, J.Y. Design, Silver Lining, Restaurant & Bar, a Night through the Valley
Production Technology: Frosted glass is used for the windows to create an image of swaying moonlight passing through the shadows of woods that cover the entire valley, luring passing travelers in. Along with the green and gray, accessories and construction methods that imitate nature also enhance the tranquil experience, creating a moment of peace among the mountains.
Design Challenge: Delicate use of reflections, just like moonlight shining down through the leaves, can be found in both the acrylic mirrors that hang from the ceiling and hand-made lamps on the bar. From simple but precise design, along with creative use of complex materials, a magical space comes into existence at a seemingly mundane street corner.
Research: A straight bar extends all the way into the room. Behind the bar and the double tables, gypsum is used to form a rough surface on the walls. With belt lights hovering over, the texture creates a unique sense of wilderness, mimicking weathered mountain walls.
Inspiration: Combining the owner's preference for arches and exotic touches, the design visualizes the concept, "a Night through the Valley." Dark green tones fill up the space, while the columns in the center divide the room into kitchen and seating sections. With somewhat limited space, two inverted L-shaped areas allow for smooth interior traffic and a cozy dining experience.
Project Duration: The project finished in May 2021 in Taipei City, Taiwan.
Operation Flow: The rugged, unsaturated touch on the dark green walls simulates the misty views in a forest. The texture on the floor is created with a customized organic paint to visualize a stream that flows through the valley.
