City Archipelago huwa pjan ta' distrett urban għal sit ta' 15-il ettaru fiċ-Ċentru Sekondarju ta' Zhenru fid-Distrett ta' Putuo, Shanghai. Il-pjan ibiddel żona li qabel kienet "brownfield" f'distrett imħallat b'funzjonijiet ta' uffiċċji, residenzjali u innovazzjoni diġitali. L-ilma u ż-żoni ħodor jaħdmu bħala infrastruttura ħadra li tgħin timmaniġġja l-għargħar mill-maltempati u ttejjeb il-ħajja ta' kuljum fil-belt. Bini ekoloġiku huwa organizzat f'mudell mifrux biex jifforma "gżejjer". Faċilitajiet ta' servizzi kummerċjali tul it-triq ewlenija tal-belt inaqqsu l-istorbju u d-distrazzjoni viżiva.

Inspiration: Ecology as a catalyst
Water and green are key to urban islands. They serve as green infrastructure to help manage storm floods and improve citizen experience, and are the brand-new epitome of urban brownfield transition. Ecospace in concentrated urban areas holds lasting appeal for locals and entrepreneurs and breathes new life into the region.
Project Duration: The project is located in Zhenru Subcenter, Putuo District, Shanghai. The design started in March 2021 and completed in August 2021. The construction is in full swing.
Operation Flow: Blend and economy
A blend of office, residential and digital innovation functions maintain the streets' vigor. Transit-oriented development in the east is economically balanced with large open space in the west, thus enabling the project to progress.
