About Toma Sufan

Toma huwa sufan iddisinjat għall-ispazji tal-għajxien. Il-forma ta' Toma ġejja mill-idea li biċċa waħda ta' drapp tiġi mgeżwra madwar is-sit kollu, bl-istil ta' drapp tal-crêpe. Ir-riżultat huwa wiċċ kontinwu b'tidwir artab li jgeżwer lill-persuna bilqiegħda. Intuża drapp elastiku biex tinkiseb il-wiċċ ikkurvat kumpless, li kien diffiċli biex jiġi prodott. Toma jkejjel 1580 mm fil-wisa', 950 mm fil-fond u 850 mm fl-għoli. Id-disinn jesplora forma aktar ħielsa għal biċċa għamara komuni.

Unique Properties
This sofa was born from the act of wrapping it in a single piece.
It has become a unique sofaa with undulations. This project began with the question: could we express the commonplace piece of furniture that is the sofa in a freer form? The idea expanded from the thought that wrapping it in a single piece of fabric, like crepe, might yield an interesting shape, leading us to arrive at this form.
