It can block the cooking fume, without reducing the sense of permeability, and still being able to interact with the living room.
Dimensions & Packaging: Since the space is altered from an office space, this case emphasizes various types of construction. The designer not only changes the utility line into hanging pipelines, he also adds a shaft for the bathroom, to create a fresh look for it. To rearrange the flow of the space, the direction of the door is altered; a working balcony is added, in order to make the separation of the public and private spaces more defined. The stainless steel alternates with the black tone creates a sense of rhythm.
Design Challenge: The original houses electric wires and water pipes were very old and disorganized. Inspiration: This project is a terrace house at the corner, though it has natural light from both sides, the separating wall shared with the neighbors is unable to have open windows. Inevitably it will be dark corners in the space, thus, bringing natural light into the whole house is the main focus of the design.
