About Xi'an Qinhan New City Villa Boliginnredning
Xi'an Qinhan New City Villa er et interiørdesign for bolig i et hus over fire etasjer. Designkonseptet er inspirert av Tang-dynastiets storhetstid. Den opprinnelige strukturen ble justert for å tilføye en mesanin i kjelleren. Den resulterende kjelleren over to etasjer inneholder fritids- og underholdningsområder for familien.

- Unique Properties
- The original building is a four-story villa. After several times of discussion, the designers optimized the original structure that the basement has a mezzanine. Therefore, the two-story basement is used for family's leisure and entertainment space.
On 1F, the dining and living room is enclosed by U-shaped courtyard, presenting a spatial layout of two separate spaces. The second floor is mainly used as rest area. The design emphasizes the layout of master bedroom, which has a sense of ritual. - Dimensions & Packaging

- Production Technology
- The spacious horizontal space has a reception room and an open study area. Stone floor and beige wood veneer wall set the tone of the overall space. Magnificent architectural complex is processed aesthetically into an abstract painting on the wall that shows the royal lordliness of the ancient imperial capital. Moreover, other traditional elements are abstracted into patterns on screen, handles and metal ornaments.
- Design Challenge
- There are two challenges during the construction process. Firstly, since the living and dining room connects the courtyard, a reasonable layout is needed to ensure that different views of the courtyard can be seen at different angles in the interior. Secondly, as the basement has a 7-meter-high space to be designed and the stair space is steep and shallow, the design team created a mezzanine as the transition space between 1F and the basement.

- Operation Flow
- The design concept is the prosperity of Tang Dynasty. After several times of discussion, the designers optimized the original structure that the basement has a mezzanine.
