The Design

About Land of Euphoria Eiendomssalgsenter

Design Challenge
In response to the comparatively large scale of the site, and with a five-storey apartment building sitting in the middle, the designer adopted the method of interior landscaping, through a large suspended roof, atrium pond, installation of plants and ways of setting the tone to eliminate the abrupt existence of the old building, forming a harmonious visual composition, also demonstrates the extraordinary aura of the site's depth.
Research
After years of revitalizing the site, the sales center was expected to carry on the local charm and fulfill the needs of the era. Through interpreting the Chinese garden concept with modern techniques, vista in moving steps and dialogue between times were created. Azure of Hakka dye and Chinese red in the interior, wood grille as partition, and combination of display table and sink in the bathroom matching with floral art constructed deluxe scenes, allowing visitors to have the utmost pleasure.
Inspiration
Banqiao, where the sales center based, gathers historical heritage and modern energy. In this regard, practices of Chinese garden were used in the project, through the progressive form, winding corridors, grand atrium and waterscape, vista in moving steps and intriguing effect were shaped. The contrast between the concise architectural style and the refined garden, blended the past and present, but also built a life field with profound cultural ideas responding to the local prospects.
Project Duration
Location: Banqiao District, New Taipei City, Taiwan
Time: March. 2021-October. 2020
Operation Flow
In order to avoid the hustle and bustle at the outer ring of the base, a large-span roof was utilized to divide the field at the entrance side of the sales center, not only creating a pure land in prosperity, but embodying the conception of "The greatest hermit finds serenity amidst chaos." In terms of the layout planning, the designer used roomy corridors and smooth flow to connect varied spatial functions, showing the space pattern with coherent retraction and interactive penetration.
