Om Zazen Multifunksjonell stol
Zazen er en multifunksjonell stol designet for arbeid og hvile på offentlige steder som kontorer og biblioteker. Zazen kan snus for å endre funksjon. Med den lille åpningen opp fungerer Zazen som en vanlig stol for studier og arbeid. Med den store åpningen opp blir Zazen til en bred sofa som tilbyr et komfortabelt rom for lesing og meditasjon. Brukere kan sitte i skredderstilling på sofaoverflaten. Zazen er laget av teak, et stabilt og slitesterkt tre, og måler 96 cm i lengde, 68 cm i bredde og 65 cm i høyde.

- Zazen is a refreshing space rather than a chair. We need an area in the public places such as office and library to let us get out of the stress for a while. Zazen can company you until calming down and refresh yourself via providing an area for meditation. It also can be an ordinary chair with turning over for study and work.

In total, Zazen expresses a method of taking care of your mental and psychological health while putting lots of effort to work and study. - Inspirasjon
- Daily working time and library sofa inspired us to come up with this project. Employees often need to relax during your daily work in order to refresh brain. And sofa is furniture that can make people feel more comfortable. We want to design a chair that combines advantages. It is usually a chair that can be flipped over to form a wide sofa. Users can meditate while sitting cross-legged on the sofa.

- The project started in September 2021 in Milan and finished in February 2022 in that place, and was exhibited in China in February 2022.
- Driftsflyt
- Turn the small-opening side up to make it an ordinary chair for study and work. On the other hand, it turns to a sofa with a large-opening side up so that creates a comfortable space for reading and meditation. When users feel stressed with current study or work, come and meditate for a while, to gain a refreshed mind.
