About The Soleil Building Kontor
Dette er kontorbygget for solenergiselskapet med base i Osaka. De ønsket å designe det dynamiske og åndelige verdensbildet som ligger gjemt dypt i fjellene ved å gjenskape de enorme klippene som ofte ses dypt inne i japanske fjell, men i byen. Utskåret med kunstige fjellformasjoner og vertikale tregitter, manifesterer bygningens fasade designkonseptet "Sammensmeltning av natur og kunst." Den kunstige fjellformasjonen som er innebygd i fasaden fra første til andre etasje fortsetter inn til inngangen, og den kunstige klippen smelter sammen med en skulptur med kjærlighet som tema. Kunst er lagdelt gjennom hele bygningen.

- “Fusion of Nature and Art”
This is the office building for the solar power company based in Osaka. "Design the future with nature" is the corporate philosophy of the company and its infrastructure is designed to embody the philosophy by adhering to carbon-neutral practices, utilizing solar panels on the rooftop to power the building.
We started planning the design based on “art” in the space, and choose artificial rocks as a foundation of “art.” We wish to design the dynamic and spiritual worldview lurking deep in the mountains by recreating huge rocks which often seen deep in Japanese mountains in the city. Chiseled with artificial rocks and vertical wooden lattices, the building facade manifests the design concept "Fusion of Nature and Art." The artificial rock embedding facade of the ground floor to the 2nd floor continued to the entrance and the artificial rock merges with a sculpture on a theme of love. - Inspiration
- The inspiration came from a giant rock stately stands deep in Japanese mountain. It stands quietly but exude a quiet dignity. Since ancient times, Japanese people believed that spirits dwell in all things like woods, rocks, water and plants in the nature. We hope that the artificial rocks we design will somehow holds the spirituality from the nature.
