बाइया टोकियो महानगरको केन्द्र शिबुयामा अस्तित्वमा आयो जसरी शहरमा अचानक एउटा गुफा देखा परेको हो। यसमा ५ तला छन्; एक तहखाना, ३ तला र एक छतको टेरेस, र सम्पूर्ण तलाको डिजाइन अवधारणा शहर भित्रको गुफा हो। डिजाइनरहरूले विश्वास गरे कि गुफाको मनमोहक र विदेशी वातावरणलाई केवल न्यूनतम डिजाइनले मात्र दृश्यात्मक बनाउन सक्छ, र पन्ना हरियो प्रकाश र मोर्टार प्रयोग गरी यसलाई न्यूनतम राखे जुन तिनीहरूलाई यो आधुनिक गुफाको लागि उपयुक्त लाग्यो। मनमोहक पन्ना हरियो बत्तीहरूको प्रकाश योजनाले स्थानमा चमक थप्यो र डिजाइन अवधारणालाई दृश्यात्मक बनाउन मद्दत गर्यो।

- “a cave within the city”
BAIA came into existence in the center of Shibuya the center of Tokyo metropolitan as a cave suddenly appeared in the city. BAIA consists of 5 floors; a basement, 3 stories and a rooftop terrace, and the design concept of entire floor is “a cave within the city.” We believed only a minimal design could visualize the fascinating and exotic atmosphere of a cave, and kept it minimal using emerald green lighting and mortar which we think suited for this modern cave. The lighting plan of fascinating emerald green lights added a glamor to the space and helped to visualize the design concept “a cave within the city.” - Tags

- We were inspired by the fascinating and exotic atmosphere of a cave. We hope to trigger a chain reaction of positive inspirations by making an appearance of the design inspired by a cave in the very center of Tokyo.
