Chanel is a furniture collection created as a complete home solution. The collection covers eight living scenarios, including the entryway, living room, kitchen and dining area, and bedroom. A black and white palette defines the visual identity. Walnut cabinetry, solid wood flooring, marble countertops, metal handles, aluminum frames and glass panels are used, together with water based paint. Modular zoning separates active areas from quiet rooms. Bedroom backlighting responds to night sensing, and rounded doors and edges reduce collision risks for children and older people.

- Production Technology
- Material use prioritizes premium texture, sustainability, and durability. Walnut cabinetry and solid wood flooring set a warm tone, while Bulgari marble countertops with natural veins echo French elegance. Metal handles, aluminum frames, and glass panels add modern sophistication. Manhattan pilasters are covered with ultrafine matte leather for a soft, durable, and slip resistant finish. Water based paint replaces traditional solvent coatings, supporting a green and healthy lifestyle.
- Design Challenge
- The key challenge lay in weaving Chanel black and white aesthetics and French elegance into every space. To this end, modular structures and precise proportions ensure form never overshadows utility. Integrated versatile systems enhance daily convenience. For instance, the living room serves for movie watching, storage, art display, and socializing, while the study merges work, collecting, rest, and gatherings. This approach delivers functional adaptability and deep emotional resonance.
- Project Duration
- The design and development of this project started in Shanghai on May 1, 2025. It was introduced to the Chinese market on November 1, 2025.
- Operation Flow
- User centred interaction defines the experience. Bedroom backlighting uses night sensing to prevent sleep disruption. The tea cabinet features a smart system that identifies leaves and suggests ideal brewing temperatures. Lively areas like the living and dining rooms are separated from quiet retreats such as bedrooms and studies, ensuring uninterrupted focus or rest. Rounded doors and edges minimize collision risks, especially for children and the elderly, demonstrating care for all ages.
- Research
- This project answers real living needs. Designed for a typical Shanghai household with five members across three generations and a pet, its modular zoning resolves spatial constraints and functional conflicts. It mixes aesthetics with utility to cater to high net worth individuals valuing understated luxury. By fusing classic French aesthetics with smart technology, the design creates a home language that is both culturally rich and forward looking in a global context.
- Inspiration
- Inspired by a legendary life story, the design traces its roots to formative early experiences. Black and white emerge as defining colors—black embodying strength and dignity, while white symbolizes purity and rebirth. This iconic palette now shapes the home, turning each room into a narrative of emotion and identity. Beyond mere aesthetics, the space channels an enduring spirit of independence, elegance, and innovation—inviting you to walk through it as a lived experience rather than simply observe it.
