Dbrood is a bar located in downtown Shanghai, designed for young visitors under twenty-five years of age. The traditional entrance is replaced by an artistic installation shaped like a subway carriage. Guests pass through the carriage to reach the bar, so the arrival becomes part of the visit. The subway carriage is used as a symbol of freedom and of a return to a natural state. The design keeps the bar both connected to and separated from the outside world, as if the carriage were departing. The interior is intended to be playful and engaging.

Unique Properties
This is a bar in downtown Shanghai, targeting young people under 25 years of age. Their way of thinking is interesting, so they cancel the traditional entrance design and make an artistic device for the subway carriage. They hope that everyone who enters can take a subway which returns to their own nature and make it connected and isolated with the outside world through the departure of a subway carriage.
Inspiration
Subway carriage stands for freedom. As a bar targeted at young people under 25, it caters their way of thinking, and everything in this bar should be interesting and fascinating.
